I bought this because I was concerned about blackheads on my nose. Even after the first use, I could visibly see blackheads being removed. The fragrance is too artificial. When you press the pump, a lot comes out at once, making it difficult to control the amount. If you use it with a silicone brush designed for blackhead removal, it works really well at getting rid of blackheads. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinJan 23, 2024
It was convenient to use, and I felt more drawn to it because it's from a well-known brand It has a strong artificial scent and doesn't seem as good as I expected - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJan 17, 2024
It removes makeup well and I like it. The texture seems easy to control. The scent is quite artificial, like typical cosmetic fragrances, so it might be hit or miss depending on personal preference. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinDec 7, 2023
Its cleansing effectiveness is impressive, giving you the feeling that all impurities are being washed away from your skin The scent might be divisive as it has a rather artificial fragrance that some may love and others may not - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 22, 2023
There's nothing particularly good about this product. I usually like this brand's sunscreens, so I bought this when my cleansing oil ran out, but it was a mistake. 1. Overpowering artificial scent - While cleansing, it gives off an unpleasant cement-like smell that persists even during emulsification, making the experience quite disagreeable. 2. Heavy texture - I always use cleansing oils for my blackheads and sebum, but I've never encountered such a heavy feel before. Usually, after emulsifying and rinsing with lukewarm water, my skin feels refreshed. However, with this product, even after following up with a foam cleanser, it still feels like there's a film left on my skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 30, 2023
Effectively dissolves sebum Removes makeup thoroughly Didn't cause any blemishes after use The scent is a bit peculiar Smells like old-fashioned cosmetics Other than that, I can't think of any drawbacks - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMay 22, 2023
The texture is incredibly lightweight! It's one of the thinnest cleansing oils I've ever used! The scent feels artificial! I was disappointed that the fragrance was off-putting during the cleansing step. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 28, 2023
✓ Decent cleansing effectiveness, emulsifies well, great pump, recommended for dry skin. However, the scent is too strong, and those with acne-prone skin might experience blemishes. I received this product when my skin wasn't in the best condition, with blemishes popping up here and there, and I rarely wore makeup..! I wanted to use it on days when I did wear makeup, which is why my review is a bit late. 1. Cleansing Effectiveness What I was most satisfied with was the cleansing power. I use a mineral sunscreen, and when I emulsify and remove it with this cleansing oil followed by foam cleansing, it removes everything without leaving residue~! Despite its good cleansing power, I didn't experience any particular dryness or tightness after cleansing. 2. Texture It's a runny oil that allows for smooth rolling and emulsifies well. Compared to the Make P:rem cleansing oil I used before, which became sticky as I massaged it, this product has a thinner, smoother texture for rolling. Comparing it to the Beplain Mung Bean Cleansing Oil I'm currently using, they have similarly thin textures, but when massaging on the face, Beplain feels lighter while this one feels a bit richer. 3. Blemishes I recommend this more for >>combination to dry skin<< rather than oily skin! For someone like me with combination dehydrated skin prone to inflammatory blemishes, this cleansing oil is a bit challenging to use. After using it for 3 consecutive days following makeup application, I noticed some blemishes appearing, so I think it might be related. Therefore, I recommend it more for dry or non-acne-prone skin! 4. Packaging I love that you can turn the pump head to switch it on/off. Also, it dispenses a good amount with each pump, which I personally prefer over products that dispense tiny amounts. Keep in mind that one pump might be enough, as two pumps could be too much. 1. The scent... is too strong It's definitely a familiar scent, but I can't quite place it right now. It's as strong as a perfume..! It's similar to the Clean Cotton fragrance or the 'dad's aftershave' scent I've smelled at Olive Young, which was a bit overwhelming for me.. When using cleansing oil, always make sure to emulsify with water after the initial makeup-dissolving massage! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 27, 2023
- Gently removes makeup effectively - Seems to be effective on blackheads - The after-feel is quite nice - Didn't cause any particular blemishes - Has a slight cosmetic scent (It's a personal preference, but I'm not a fan...) Great for daily use as a cleansing oil. It's a safe, reliable choice. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2023
✔Skin Type -Oily skin lacking hydration (+redness, seborrheic dermatitis, atopic dermatitis, milia and inflammatory acne) -Too many skincare ingredients can trigger acne and allergic reactions Unlike my usual cleansing oil that left my skin feeling dry after use, this product provided a nice moisturizing effect post-cleanse, which I really appreciated. Moreover, its cleansing effectiveness was impressive. It effortlessly removed foundation (Double Wear) and concealer (Wake Make) without any issues. Even mascara (Neogen) was mostly removed, with only slight residue remaining, which I found quite satisfactory. While I enjoyed the hydrating feel, the fragrance reminded me of men's skincare products or artificial scents. Unfortunately, a faint scent lingered on my face even after rinsing, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, after about three uses, I noticed small milia appearing on my forehead and cheeks.
