It really calms redness effectively, and the next day my skin feels soft and smooth. I'm pleased that when I wash my face, my skin doesn't feel bumpy from excess sebum. It also seems to have a subtle effect on pores. The volume seems quite small. It doesn't appear to have a significant effect on calming large blemishes. In fact, I stopped using it because I developed more severe blemishes. Apply generously...? - gb********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 31, 2024
After applying toner, I felt like my skin was really drinking it in. Then when I layered on the ampoule, it was like my skin was bursting with hydration! The moisture level was so intense that I could even skip moisturizer. My skin felt wonderfully plump and dewy! To be honest, there wasn't anything I didn't like about it! It suited my skin perfectly, so I used it with great satisfaction. - pc******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMar 16, 2024
The moment I applied it, I knew this was going to be amazing. My skin had been irritated, itchy, and red with blemishes, but after using this along with the matching cream from the same line overnight, everything had calmed down by morning. It's the epitome of gentle and really shows you what deep hydration means. This serum truly works hard for your skin! It's quite pricey... All the products from this brand are expensive considering their volume. - eu******Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2024
This is the top product I've tried from Hevblue... I've been using it consistently for over 6 months and it's truly amazing. If my skin gets irritated, I apply this and in about 20 minutes, like magic, it's completely soothed. The texture isn't too thick, making it perfect to use under makeup. On good skin days, I can really feel my pores tightening. It's just fantastic! Honestly, it's quite pricey for the amount you get... Even though I buy it in packs of 5, I go through it quickly because of the small quantity. - ps*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 21, 2024
I have weak, sensitive, and extremely dry yet oily skin prone to blemishes. I discovered that applying this ampoule to red areas helps calm the redness. As someone who really dislikes greasy products, I love that this one is oil-free, doesn't feel sticky, and has a formula that absorbs quickly and cleanly as soon as you apply it. While it doesn't cause any blemishes and is great overall, if I had to pick one downside, it might be that the quantity is a bit small... - dp*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2024
As someone with acne-prone skin, I developed whiteheads after using a tea tree moisturizer for my pustules. I bought this product hoping for a solution. While it doesn't make existing whiteheads disappear, it prevents new ones from forming after extracting the stubborn ones. I apply this serum after toner and before moisturizer, and it works wonders! I've been to dermatologists before, but they only extracted without preventing new blemishes. Since finding this serum, I haven't had new breakouts - now I'm just left with some scars. This serum is definitely thinner compared to others. It runs easily and feels light after application. As someone with combination dehydrated skin who can't use products that clog pores or leave an oily residue, I found it suitable. However, those looking for a richer texture might be disappointed. Due to its lightweight nature, I sometimes applied it 2-3 times depending on my skin's condition. It's a bit pricey for how quickly you go through it. I switched to a more substantial toner from the same Hepblue line and reduced my serum usage to make it more cost-effective. I used to use the entire Hepblue salmon line - toner, serum, and cream. The cream didn't suit me, and the toner was too light for winter. Now my routine is: La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Toner, Salmon Serum, and Hanyul Yuja Sleeping Mask. There's debate about whether to extract whiteheads or not. In my experience, whether it's a whitehead or a pustule, it's caused by sebum trapped under the skin, so extraction was necessary for me. After extracting, I mix Ecnon cream (for pustules, not whiteheads) with Madecassol powder and apply it to bare skin. Then I do my skincare routine and reapply the mixture thickly. The next day, there's still a mark, but it's not red and has subsided significantly. It's a slow process, but after repeating this method, all my spread-out whiteheads disappeared, and even the small bumps on the surface vanished after 3 months! If you're struggling with combination dehydrated skin and get whiteheads from even slightly pore-clogging products, give this method a try! - sh*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 4, 2024
The application is moisturizing, with a final finish that feels dewy and fresh! I could feel my skin barrier strengthening within a week of use, and as I'm nearly finishing the bottle, my skin has become so much healthier. If you've tried everything and haven't seen improvements in skin texture or condition, or if you have complex problematic skin, I definitely recommend giving this a try! You might find your skin transformed 180 degrees before you know it! Looking at the product itself (ingredients), there don't seem to be any notable drawbacks. However, the dropper doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle, which becomes quite inconvenient when you're trying to use up the last bit. Also, if I had to point out a downside, it would be that the price isn't exactly budget-friendly for the amount you get. Personally, I found it works even better if you make sure to fully absorb your toner or skin before applying this serum thoroughly. Similarly with the serum, if you let it sink deep into your skin before applying your finishing cream, it seems to maximize the effects without any pilling. - 0g******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 18, 2023
It was great that it wasn't irritating at all, even on areas affected by atopic dermatitis For dry skin in winter, it's a bit dehydrating, so you need to layer another serum on top - ve*****Oily SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 2, 2023
It absorbs well, as if you haven't applied anything. It sinks in completely without leaving any oily residue, finishing with a fresh feel and no excess product. Even though I have oily skin, I prefer serums with a bit of oil. When applied, this one feels too water-based. While the lightweight texture is nice, I found it lacking in richness. Especially now in winter, the almost complete absence of oil and its watery consistency are disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 26, 2023
It's noticeably moisturizing and visibly improves my skin. Even people around me have commented on how much better my skin looks. I didn't really find any drawbacks. It's so easy and pleasant to use that I haven't discovered any downsides yet.
