ConsThe application isn't great, and instead of a pretty brightening effect, it leaves a white cast.. It doesn't give that beautiful complexion you see on Instagram

It's a relief to use without worrying about clogging pores. The sunscreen has a nice hydrating feel and applies smoothly, making it great to use before makeup. It's also soothing, so I'd recommend it to those dealing with blemishes.
ConsThe price point is on the higher side, and being a mineral sunscreen, it does leave a slight white cast.
TipTry applying it with a beauty sponge for better makeup application afterwards.

The sun protection appears to be effective, with a clear difference between areas where it's applied and where it's not. As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciate that it doesn't clog my pores, given that I don't break out after using this mineral sunscreen.
ConsIt has all the drawbacks of a mineral sunscreen. While it's not extremely thick, there is some clumping, and if you apply base makeup over it, everything pills. The white cast is also quite severe, turning my face blue-ish white, which is a bit embarrassing when going out.

ConsPersonal opinion: The white cast was quite noticeable, and it severely irritated my eyes when applied near them. Unless it's on sale, the price is quite high. I bought 5 when they were heavily discounted... what a shame. They claim it's hydrating, but it's not just about hydration - it's also much oilier compared to other similar products. It feels sticky on the skin. This is the most disappointing product I've tried from Hera Blue, and I stocked up on it... Also, when I applied it without any makeup on, my dad asked if I had put on too much makeup because my face looked so white. I didn't even apply that much... That's how severe the white cast is, in my opinion.
TipBe sure to avoid applying it near your eyes.

Scent: Personally, I'm not a fan of the artificial sunscreen smell, but I could apply this product without any aversion. Hydration: It's perfect as a base before makeup! It doesn't make your skin greasy, but leaves it moisturized. I didn't experience any pilling or makeup separation, which was great!
ConsApplication: Initially, it feels a bit thick when applying. I'm used to more hydrating sunscreens that feel like moisturizers, so this felt quite heavy to me. It does absorb well if you pat it in, but at first, the thickness made me hesitant to use it regularly. White cast: If you're looking for a brightening moisturizer that evens skin tone, I'd recommend this! However, if you're like me and dislike sunscreens that make your face look pale, I wouldn't suggest it. While it's fine under makeup, there's a noticeable white cast when worn alone. Keep this in mind when considering this product!

I'll explain more below. The only positive thing I can say is that it has clean ingredients.
ConsFirst off, it goes on way too white. It's beyond just a white cast - maybe because of the name, but the sunscreen has a bluish tint that makes you look like a Kabuki actor when you apply makeup over it. Like other reviewers mentioned, it's very drying. I thought maybe I wasn't doing my skincare routine properly, but even with a thorough routine, as soon as I apply this sunscreen, my skin feels the same way. It's just really disappointing overall...

I've always been interested in skincare, but avoided sunscreen due to eye sensitivity. Whether it was mineral or chemical sunscreens, I stayed away because of the stinging. When I won this product in an event, I decided to give sunscreen another try. Without thinking, I applied it generously like a regular cream and was surprised by the white cast at first. However, even with a thick layer about the size of a coin, the white cast settled after 2-3 minutes. Amazingly, there was no eye irritation even when applied close to the under-eye area. I often rub my eyes due to poor vision, and other sunscreens would sting terribly when they got into my eyes. But with this product, there's no stinging or irritation, even when I rub my eyes, which is fantastic.
ConsThe application can be a bit challenging. While it does blend with your skin tone after 2-3 minutes, the initial application feels somewhat thick and the white cast can be surprising at first.
TipApply thin layers multiple times. Make sure to apply your base skincare products thoroughly, and ensure they're fully absorbed before applying the sunscreen. If there's any moisture left on your face, the white cast will be more noticeable. So, be sure to layer it thinly multiple times after your skincare has been fully absorbed.

First off, I love that the sunscreen has a pointed tip, making it hygienic and easy to dispense just the right amount for smooth application! Since I have acne scars, I prefer sunscreens with a slight brightening effect. This one provides a natural tone-up without being excessive, thanks to its subtle white cast. I've been using it for a week without any irritation. One day I went out wearing just this sunscreen, and while it felt a bit rich at first, over time it settled into a comfortably matte finish that wasn't too drying. It really works hard to balance oil and moisture!
ConsBecause it does have a white cast, you need to blend it in thoroughly. Those with very dry skin all over might find it a tad drying.
TipFor the best application, squeeze out a thin line along your face - it makes it easier to spread evenly!

While mineral sunscreens can be inevitably thick, this one spread well without discomfort, probably due to its high moisture content. I loved that it didn't feel tight even hours after application, thanks to its hydrating properties. As I have very oily skin, it's crucial that my pores don't get clogged, and this sunscreen claims to have a patented ingredient that prevents pore blockage. Personally, I'm not particularly sensitive to fragrances, so I didn't find anything bothersome about the scent.
ConsThe product description mentions an ingredient that gives a blue tint, and compared to other sunscreens, you can indeed see a slight blue hue. While it's fine after it's absorbed, there's definitely a white cast immediately after application. As a man with darker skin, I find this effect a bit more noticeable.
TipThe left side of my hand shows the Benton product I usually use, while the right side shows the Hevblue Clear Zulen product. There's some white cast right after application, but it fades over time. This sunscreen might be ideal for those with sensitive, oily skin who don't have a very dark complexion.
