I have super sensitive skin, so I'm always a bit apprehensive about trying new cosmetics for fear of blemishes. My usual sunscreen had been working well, but recently it hasn't been agreeing with my skin, so I decided to give this product a try. - What I loved most was how smoothly it applies. The texture is more like an emulsion rather than typical mineral sunscreen, making it glide on effortlessly. - Being a mineral sunscreen, there is some white cast, but it's not overly noticeable. As the product description suggests, it provides a natural brightening effect. - The bamboo water in the formula gives it a very hydrating feel. While it does leave a glow, I find this preferable to a completely dry finish. - The scent is almost non-existent, with just a hint of what might be described as a rubber-like smell. It shouldn't be off-putting for most users. - Compared to my previous mineral sunscreen, this one is gentler and hasn't caused any blemishes on my sensitive skin, so I'm quite satisfied so far. - The product has a thinner consistency, but the pointed tip of the tube makes it easy to dispense just the right amount without waste.
Cons- While it doesn't apply stiffly, there is a slight sticky, elastic feel when you put it on. This might have been fine in winter, but in summer when my face tends to get oily, it's a bit bothersome. - The price seems a bit high for the amount and performance of the product. These days, there are many products with good ingredients and performance at more affordable prices, so I'm not sure if I would repurchase this after comparing options.
TipI found that after applying sunscreen and cushion foundation, any excess oil can be managed by lightly pressing powder on necessary areas of the face. This leaves a natural glow without looking too shiny.
