It gives a natural brightening effect. However, don't expect coverage like a foundation or BB cream - if you buy it with that expectation, you might be disappointed. It feels a bit harsh on the skin and I've noticed some blemishes appearing, so it doesn't seem to be particularly gentle. - dk********Combination SkinRecommendedMay 20, 2025
It's great for a light application. The ingredients are good, and it absorbs smoothly into the skin. While it's excellent value for money, it's a bit disappointing that it causes some eye irritation. As it's foundation-free, it doesn't provide strong coverage! - yi*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessMay 16, 2025
While it's not as great as expected, since it's a Hwahae product, it does provide some tone correction. The product clumps and becomes blotchy. The fragrance is also quite poor, and after application, my face feels irritated and dry. - sm*******Dry SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 9, 2025
I'm already on my second tube~! I use this as a foundation-free sunscreen base. The sunscreen I was using before became too drying for my very dry skin. So I was on the hunt for something super hydrating and with brightening effects. I tried this on a YouTuber's recommendation! I've settled on this product now. The natural brightening effect is fantastic, and it's so hydrating! It feels like applying an emulsion rather than a sunscreen. The texture is quite fluid. There might be a bit of pilling, but if you massage it in well and finish with a puff, it's even better. While it won't completely cover blemishes, the overall brightening effect and natural color are really impressive. As you can see from the color, it has a nude tone that naturally evens out your complexion. I was skeptical because of the low price, but no - at this price point and quality, it's definitely a repurchase! Please don't discontinue this product, I beg you... This has been my recommendation for a hydrating, foundation-free sunscreen for very dry skin types. There's nothing particularly bad! Well... those who use this as a base and apply foundation separately might find it pills a bit. For me, it's fine since I use it instead of foundation. For any slight pilling, apply it as a base and finish with a puff at the end! That should take care of it. - jo*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2025
It seems to slightly brighten the complexion. It applies smoothly without any irritation. The price is also affordable, which is great. I'm using it without any complaints. If there's a buy-one-get-one-free deal, I think I'll use it well throughout the summer. - vt******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 27, 2025
I've been using this for over a year and it's great as a foundation-free option! It also works well as a base before makeup. If you apply too much, it can look cakey and feels a bit oily, so you need to be careful with the amount you use. - tr******Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 22, 2025
I first tried this after a friend recommended it, and I loved it so much that I'm planning to repurchase after finishing the whole thing. Previously, I used Dr. Alga a lot and it suited me well. I've also tried Dalba, but its pink tone accentuates facial redness, making me look like a radish when my face feels hot. Among these three, I liked CYNICAL the best, mainly because of its beautiful color. My skin is lighter than shade 21, blemish-free, prone to occasional flushing, and has yellow undertones. While pink tones used to suit me, now I prefer light ivory or beige shades, especially when my skin feels warm. CYNICAL provides just the right amount of coverage without being too heavy. It might not be enough for those with blemishes, but for me, applying just this one product gives me a flawless complexion with a natural glow, and I've received many compliments on my skin. I was surprised by its skin-friendly ingredients and affordable price. As someone with dry skin, I find it quite moisturizing. It works wonderfully for my skin type. I was disappointed that it's a hybrid sunscreen and not washable. I wonder if there's a product out there that's 100% mineral, has a light ivory tone like CYNICAL, is moisturizing, and also washable? If anyone knows of a product that fits all these criteria - light beige color, washable, mineral sunscreen, suitable for dry skin - please recommend it to me. I apply it thinly with a spatula, then pat it in with my hands or a puff. Personally, I find that patting it in with my hands after using the spatula gives a better glow and is more convenient. - fn********Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessApr 20, 2025
It's not too rich and has a light consistency. The 1+1 deal made it quite affordable. As a warm-toned person who usually mixes shades 21 and 23, this shade 21 is too light for me. You can see in the photo how different my face looks compared to my body! It also settles into pores and emphasizes dead skin cells. I'll have to mix it with other foundations. Unfortunately, it's not suitable for a foundation-free look. - wj**********Normal SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 17, 2025
It's so hydrating that you might not even need foundation! It absorbs well and really evens out your complexion. There's a slight oiliness, but a quick pat of powder takes care of that completely! - vo*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 15, 2025
It naturally evens skin tone, so when my mom saw me using it, she really liked it and I gave her one There wasn't anything particularly bad. Maybe just that the discount rate was a bit lower than before?
