I love that it doesn't cause any irritation or blemishes.
ConsUnfortunately, the scent isn't great. Also, its staying power could be better.

ConsThe scent is a bit unpleasant. However, it doesn't linger, so it's tolerable enough to use.

If I'm a bit tired, I get acne, and if I use the wrong product, I get small bumps... My skin is super sensitive, ugh! But this product is really gentle and absorbs well. It's light and moisturizing like a hydrating cream! It's great for oily skin types like me, even in summer! For those with dry skin, it might be a bit too light on its own. I'd recommend layering it twice. I applied a thin layer of an aloe product first, then this one, and my face didn't feel heavy at all, just moisturized with a nice glow. Personally, I didn't find the scent overwhelming.
ConsThe size is small, so it doesn't last long. It would be great if there was a larger size available! The scent might be hit or miss for some people, but it doesn't linger for long.
TipI wanted a glowy makeup look, so I layered it twice. It didn't pill and gave me a natural Inner Glow that looks great!

(Thank you for sending the product!) When I first opened it, there was a slight herbal scent, but it wasn't overpowering or too strong, which was nice. Once applied to my face, the scent dissipated and was barely noticeable. The initial feeling when applied was cool and moisturizing. It didn't have a thick, heavy cream texture, but rather felt soft and hydrating. As someone with super sensitive skin, my main concerns were whether it would have a soothing effect, if it would cause any itching or tingling, and if it would cause pilling when applying makeup afterward. While it didn't cause any irritation, I found the hydration level a bit lacking for my preferences. It had some effect on blemishes, but not outstanding. I appreciated that when used before makeup, it didn't cause pilling or make my foundation look patchy when applied in moderation. Although I had high expectations for its skin-soothing properties as a cica product, the effects were noticeable but not exceptional. Despite this, I think I'll reach for it from time to time.

And wow, it really works! It was especially effective in soothing redness. I could see my skin, which was flushed from sun exposure and heat, calming down quickly. It was amazing to see results in just a few days of use. While its effect on post-blemish hyperpigmentation was relatively mild, it did slightly fade those marks! <Texture> As the weather's been getting drier lately, I could feel my skin lacking moisture. This product has a texture full of hydration that absorbs quickly into the skin. I also liked that the moisture doesn't evaporate rapidly, leaving skin dry. I especially recommend this for those with oily or acne-prone skin who dislike heavy, suffocating textures. <Price> It's great that you can buy it at a reasonable price (around 10,000 won) on Hwahae. Considering how expensive skincare products are these days, the Licorice Calming Cream seems to offer good value for money! (Don't buy it at full price, wait for a sale on Hwahae)
Cons<Scent> The downside of this product is its scent... (That's why I deducted one star) It has an artificial fragrance that, upon repeated sniffing, reminds me of eyelid glue. It's a scent that might be polarizing (likely more on the dislike side), so those sensitive to fragrances should take note! The silver lining is that the scent doesn't linger long, so it didn't give me a headache.
TipApply it all over your face, and add an extra thick layer on areas with redness or blemishes for better results. (As you can see in the photo, overall redness has been visibly reduced.) +) There's a honey mask from I'm From, and if you use the Licorice Calming Cream after that mask, your skin texture becomes incredibly moisturized and soft.

It seems perfect for skin with blemishes, acne scars, inflammation, or excessive oil production (which describes my skin type perfectly! My T-zone produces a lot of sebum and oil, while my U-zone is very dry and prone to dead skin cells). First off, I loved the texture - it's a bouncy gel-cream type. As someone with combination skin, I don't like creams that absorb too quickly, causing deep dryness and feeling like they've dried up instantly. But the Licorice Calming Cream applies with a burst of hydration and doesn't evaporate right away! (Though after a while, as it slowly absorbs, I did feel a slight dryness.) I usually avoid moisturizing creams with oil or pore-clogging ingredients because they cause small bumps on my skin. So I was really pleased that this cream has gentle ingredients and doesn't contain any pore-blocking components. I was impressed that the first ingredient listed isn't water, but licorice root. The fragrance-free formula has a unique scent (herbal/medicinal? It's a new scent for me in skincare - might be hit or miss for some), which made me think it must contain a high concentration of licorice extract. The hydrating moisture, minimal oiliness, and gentle formula that doesn't sting even on irritated, inflamed, or rough skin made it great for daily use!
ConsThe scent is a bit unusual - like herbal medicine. It's not great, but you only notice it when you first squeeze out the cream. Once you spread it on your face, it disappears quickly. The scent doesn't linger on the skin, so it wasn't too bothersome. Also, after about 3-4 hours, my face started feeling dry all over and a bit tight. I found that spritzing on some mist once or twice helped combat the dryness.
TipI think this will be perfect for summer use! For my combination skin, applying the Licorice Calming Cream on my nose and forehead, and using a more moisturizing cream on my cheeks, eye area, and chin worked just right!

ConsThe scent is difficult to describe, but I find it unpleasant and it bothers me each time I apply it. However, since the fragrance doesn't linger long after application, it's not a major issue.
TipAs it's not particularly rich, it would be suitable for use in all seasons except winter.

After using this cream, my skin texture became noticeably smoother! However, those with dry skin might find it a bit lacking in this weather. I was worried it might cause pilling when applying makeup due to its slightly slippery feel after application, but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't happen at all. With its gentle and high-quality ingredients, I think even those with super sensitive skin could use this without issues.
ConsFor me, it didn't seem to significantly help with skin soothing or improving hyperpigmentation. I think I'd need to use it longer to see any effects on dark spots. The scent is a bit peculiar. It's an unfamiliar fragrance, but it only lingers during application and doesn't last long, so it wasn't too bothersome. When I first received it, I was shocked by the amount. The size makes it hard to believe it's the full-size product!

The texture looks as light as a hydrating moisturizer, which made me wonder if it was really a cream. But when I applied it, my skin felt so firm and supple... It absorbs well too~ Unlike a simple moisturizer, it feels like it's truly nourishing my skin~ It's a great cream for summer use as well~ After diligently applying it morning and night, I looked in the mirror and noticed my complexion had definitely brightened~ The product claims to be good for blemishes, and while I didn't have any on my face, I tried it on an itchy spot on my neck. When I woke up the next morning, it had calmed down.. The area had been slightly discolored from scratching for a few days, but that disappeared too~ It's gentle on my super sensitive skin~
ConsThe scent... It's not overpowering or long-lasting, but it's not exactly pleasant~ Kind of a natural smell? Slightly grassy maybe... But it fades quickly.. I dislike artificial fragrances even more, so this is better than that~

Recently, due to stress, I developed a couple of dark spots on my chin, so I decided to use this product consistently! ✔️Texture It's moisturizing and absorbs well. The texture is soft, similar to a soothing cream! ✔️Hydration Using it alone was a bit drying for me, but it worked perfectly as a finishing step when combined with other ampoules or serums. ✔️Improvement of hyperpigmentation This isn't a product that shows immediate results, but rather one that requires consistent use for long-term care! ✔️Irritation There was absolutely no irritation! This was the best part, as I could use it alongside other brightening products without overwhelming my skin.
ConsThere were hardly any downsides! The scent is a bit off-putting, but it dissipates quickly so it wasn't a big issue. However, there's this hard-to-describe... somewhat unpleasant odor that hits your nose.
TipI'm currently using it with a toner that functions as a booster!
