Lathers well. The strong herbal scent seems to temporarily mask scalp odor. After washing, hair feels soft without tangles. Likely suitable for those with damaged hair. As someone with oily skin and a sweaty scalp, I started looking for a summer shampoo. I considered using a shampoo for oily hair, but those left my hair tangled and scalp sore from over-cleansing. So I searched for a shampoo that cleanses moderately while leaving hair fresh, and bought this with my own money. I used a sample without opening the full-size product, then returned it. I purchased based on reviews, but the cleansing power was so mild that I wondered if I had mistakenly used conditioner. It left my hair feeling slippery, which I absolutely hate in products that emphasize being low pH. I was shocked. Rinsing longer helps somewhat, but if you're in a hurry and don't rinse thoroughly, residue remains - definitely not a squeaky clean feeling. The strong herbal or grassy scent might be polarizing too; it's not exactly fragrant. While it does mask scalp odor, the effect only lasts half a day. After blow-drying, hair feels more flat than voluminous. Recommended for those with dry skin. - qa*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 1, 2023
The foam lathers well and the cleansing effectiveness is good. It leaves my hair feeling soft. I have an oily scalp, so when I wash in the morning, it starts to get greasy by afternoon. This seems to work better for me than the green tea shampoo. The green tea one made my hair too stiff, so I think I'll give that to my husband to use. There weren't really any downsides. For those with oily hair that's not too severe, and especially for longer hair, this product seems to work even better. After the initial wash, if you shampoo a second time, it leaves your scalp feeling refreshed. - ee*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 5, 2023
I first discovered Scalpmed through a sample from Hwahae, and I was so satisfied after trying it that I switched my shampoo. Unlike the deep blue shampoo that feels like it has salt granules, this one has a smooth texture like regular shampoo. It's great for daily use and seems perfect for summer. The cleansing effectiveness is good, it lathers well, and when I shampoo thoroughly, it gives a refreshing and cool feeling. Lately, my scalp has been so itchy that I've been scratching it every night. But after using this, the itching has decreased. Scalpmed is the best! There's nothing I'm disappointed about. If I had to pick something, maybe it would be nice if it came in a larger size? - ma***Normal SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 11, 2023
I bought the soft type for my girlfriend (she has sensitive skin) and she said it definitely helped with dead skin cells. I purchased the regular type for myself at the same time, and I'm satisfied with how it's caring for my scalp. She mentioned there wasn't much lather. The blue type had the same issue. It seems best to choose based on your scalp condition. For dry skin, go for the soft type. - xc****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2023
The cleansing effectiveness is great. This product worked better for me than the original version. It didn't lather as much as I expected, and the fragrance is just so-so. - jd********Combination SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2023
Love it, love it, love it! Can't say it enough - this product is fantastic! No complaints at all! Though I wish it came in a larger size. That would be perfect! - do********Oily SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2023
1. My scalp tends to get hot, but it felt refreshingly cool after using this shampoo. 2. I bought this for help with scalp scaling, and I'm satisfied because it feels like it's giving my scalp a thorough, squeaky-clean wash. It would be better if it came with a pump. (It's in a tube, so you have to squeeze it out.)
