If you want a cleanser that thoroughly removes oil without leaving your skin feeling tight, this is the one to buy. I use cleansing oil for blackheads, but with this cleansing foam, I get that squeaky clean finish without any tightness, even after patting dry with a towel. That's why it's great for morning cleansing too. A little goes a long way in creating a rich lather. At first, I used too much, but I quickly realized you only need a small amount, making it very cost-effective. It effectively removes light makeup like sunscreen or brightening moisturizer. I'm not sure which ingredient is responsible, but it's surprisingly gentle even if it gets in your eyes. There's still a tiny bit of irritation, but for a cleansing foam, it's remarkably mild.
ConsFor heavy makeup, you'll need to use an oil cleanser or double cleanse for thorough removal. They claim it has a natural scent, but to me, it smells a bit like toothpaste. As someone who prefers unscented products, this is a bit disappointing. However, the scent does dissipate as you massage it in, so it's not too bad.
TipFor a more thorough cleanse, try applying it thinly and massaging it in, then slightly dampen your fingertips to work up a richer lather.
