- Hwahae UserCombination SkinSep 1, 2023
First of all, it's incredibly thin. I discovered this product through The Hwahae Testers, and it has really eased my concerns about sun exposure when I'm outdoors. I used to worry a lot about UV rays, but now I feel more at ease. As everyone mentions, it does pill. If you apply it carefully, it's fine, but the way it rolls off like dead skin cells is definitely a drawback. I use this whenever I want to protect my melasma-prone areas outdoors, and I'm pleased with how well it seems to block the sun. The sun protection is better than I expected. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 29, 2023
The product's ultra-thin nature is its biggest advantage - if applied correctly, it's barely noticeable on the face. There's plenty of essence in the pack, allowing you to generously apply it over the patch. It's perfect for protecting your skin from sun damage during outdoor activities! The patch is so thin that if you accidentally rub it even slightly after application, it bunches up like dead skin cells and can't be fixed. I applied my skincare, waited for it to absorb fully, then put on the patch and essence. At this point, it was nearly invisible and I thought it was amazing! However, when I applied sunscreen on top and pressed a bit too hard, it bunched up and I had to remove it. On the other side, I tried gently patting with a cushion puff, but it still bunched up. Even with just a thin base, it's more noticeable than bare skin. It seems to require some skill to use effectively.
