I really didn't expect it, but it's invisible and the ultra-slim fabric is amazing! I applied it over my skincare on bare skin, and it looked so natural. The UV protection lasts for 8 hours! Usually, when we're outside for a long time, we reapply sunscreen every 2-3 hours, right? Thanks to this, I don't need to reapply as much, even on my cheeks. It's less irritating too. The ingredients are good, and unlike regular sunscreen where you have to keep reapplying on a dusty face, this product doesn't require that, which is much better. It's also less uncomfortable. The fabric is incredibly thin, and maybe because it contains peptides on the inside, it feels less uncomfortable and there's less tightness.
ConsThe instructions said it wouldn't show with makeup, but there is some slight pilling even with a thin layer of foundation or cushion, so it's a bit noticeable. When removing the inner film, you need to be careful. If you don't remove it properly, that part can wrinkle and become visible.
TipAs I mentioned above, when you're removing the inner film to apply it, you need to peel off the initial part carefully! If it doesn't come off well and you can't remove it nicely, the fabric wrinkles and shows as in the photo. So make sure to peel it off carefully when you start, stick it to your face, and press it down firmly. Also, when applying, it's better to stick it slightly away from your aegyo sal (under-eye fat). It wrinkles a lot when you smile.

I had no idea something like this even existed. So it was a completely new product for me. When applied correctly, it adheres well to the skin and is barely noticeable even in direct sunlight. It's thin, so it wasn't uncomfortable to wear! The subtle scent of the ampoule was pleasant. These days, I've been going fishing with my bestie, and it's great to have something that seems to shield against direct UV rays! When removing it, there's no irritation to the skin!
ConsHowever... for someone like me who's only used cream-type products for 23 years, this was quite unfamiliar. I found it challenging to apply properly. I couldn't help but think that simply applying sunscreen and heading out would be much more efficient... or maybe just wearing a face mask. There are about 5 pieces in a box, but the chances of applying them well... I used 3 in a row... what a waste... sigh.
TipI heard that if you apply some ampoule to moisturize your skin before putting this on, it adheres better. I tried that and it did stick on more smoothly. However, getting it on perfectly without any wrinkles was still a challenge...

Too embarrassed to take a photo! 1. Ingredients: I was shocked looking at the ingredient list! Totally clean. 2. Irritation: None. No additional blemishes appeared. 3. Among sun patches, this one looks noticeably natural! The thickness is incredibly thin. 4. Longevity: After applying skincare, I put this patch on, then applied a moisturizing organic sunscreen on the rest of my face. It stayed put and remained almost intact until I got home.
Cons1. Price: I think it's a bit expensive at around 17,000 won for 5 patches. 2. Difficult to apply properly. When I first tried to put it on, I didn't know what I was doing and ended up ruining it, making it all wrinkly when I tried to remove the outer film. Especially since I had blemishes right where I was trying to stick it, air bubbles formed easily, making it obvious I was wearing a patch. 3. It's like Tegaderm, so it seems to accentuate wrinkles more. Even after pressing it down with a cushion, the edges start to show slightly over time, highlighting wrinkles. 4. It takes a long time to apply, so I'll probably only use it when going out somewhere special, not for everyday use.
TipThis would be great for when you're going to the beach, skiing, or hiking - times when you want to go with a bare face. For best results: Apply your usual skincare > Let it absorb slightly > Apply a bit of peptide ampoule > Make sure to remove any dust on your face > Apply the sun patch > Carefully remove the outer film while pressing down the patch with something like the back of tweezers > Pat any remaining peptide ampoule on top > Apply a moisturizing organic sunscreen over it > Then apply base makeup products.

Just stick one on, let the ampoule absorb, and it's like you're not wearing anything at all. The transparency is amazing - it looks just like my natural skin. Plus, they're so convenient to carry around. I even used them over medicated spots without any issues! Best of all, they didn't irritate my skin at all.
ConsIt was a bit tricky to apply at first, and I wish there were more pads in the package. A few extra would be great. The price is a bit steep too. While it might be justified considering the effectiveness, I'll probably wait for a good sale before restocking.
TipHere's a pro tip: although the ampoule comes with the pads, try spritzing some mist on your face before applying the pad. This prevents the pad from shifting when you apply the ampoule. Also, these pads work wonders on the neck and nape area to cover any discoloration. It's a real lifesaver!

Regarding irritation, I was worried it might hurt when removing it since it's applied directly to the skin, but surprisingly, it wasn't as painful as I expected. I used about 3 patches a week and experienced minimal irritation with no blemishes, which was great. As for the user experience, there was no stickiness, and even though I didn't fully submerge it in water, it stayed put when slightly wet. It also held up well despite me sweating quite a bit! Initially, I thought it might be noticeable, but once I applied the ampoule, it adhered perfectly. It even worked well under makeup, which was a plus.
ConsThe price point is quite steep... While I was fortunate to receive this as part of The Hwahae Testers program, I wouldn't spend my own money on just 5 patches at that price. Also, they were a bit thin, making them tricky to apply. I actually wasted one when I first tried to use it, which was really disappointing given how precious each patch is.
TipMake sure to generously apply the ampoule on top of the patch! Also, when removing, start from the edges and gently roll it off for easier removal.

There was no irritation, and one of my concerns - makeup pilling - didn't happen at all!
ConsIt was more difficult to apply than I expected. It was disappointing that it wrinkled up a bit. Also, when I used it while working in the fields during a countryside visit, my skin felt somewhat dry afterwards, even though I have oily skin.
TipAfter applying, if you replenish your skin's hydration well, it works even better under makeup. It looks incredibly natural!

Applying these patches gave me peace of mind! The size is generous, providing satisfactory coverage. The included essence is gentle and absorbs well, so I even used the leftover amount on other areas. It felt a bit sticky before applying the essence, but once applied, it was fine. The combination works great!
ConsIt's difficult to apply neatly. The patches are so thin they fold or lift, and when I tried to apply sun cushion over them, it wouldn't absorb, resulting in a strange appearance. I couldn't possibly go out looking like that. If they were opaque, it would be obvious I'm wearing patches, but these make the skin look wrinkled. In any case, it's not a good look.
TipIt's probably best not to apply makeup over these patches!

Reviews by The Hwahae Testers undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsMy skin was a mess due to the changing seasons, and I couldn't even apply sunscreen for days. Luckily, I won this product from The Hwahae Testers at just the right time and used it well. 1) Skin irritation: The best part was that it provided sun protection without irritating my skin, making it perfect for those like me with super sensitive skin. However, as time passes, you might feel a slight tightness since it's a patch. 2) Size: The large size covers almost one whole cheek. With two patches in each pack, it's perfect for covering both cheeks. 3) Application: At first, I found it tricky to apply quickly because the patch is thin. But after using it every morning for a few days, I developed a knack for applying it smoothly as shown in the photo. It might be a bit challenging for first-time users!
ConsIf you have blemishes or uneven texture on your face, air bubbles might form. But that's unavoidable - even phone screen protectors get bubbles from a single speck of dust, so it's to be expected. However, this can make the patch a bit noticeable. It might look like you have some dead skin cells, but since other people don't really pay that much attention to my face, it didn't bother me. If you have a lot of blemishes and don't want them to be noticeable, you might want to think twice about this product.
TipIt's more noticeable if you apply it on bare skin without any base products. Following the instructions, removing the final film is actually the trickiest part. After 5 days of use, here's what I found works best: 1) Apply all your skincare products thoroughly first. 2) Remove the split film first. 3) Just check the position where you want to apply it, then slightly peel off the final film. 4) Then, like applying a phone screen protector, start sticking it to your face from the slightly peeled part, gently smoothing it out while slowly removing the rest of the final film. This method makes it much easier!

I love that it's so lightweight you can easily apply makeup over it. Even with my super sensitive skin, I didn't experience any irritation. Since we need to protect against UV rays year-round, even in winter, I'll definitely keep using this!
ConsI haven't been using it long enough to notice any downsides yet!

Texture and feel: - Thinner than other patches with an essence layer, making it less irritating and more moisturizing. - The adhesion is excellent, so it stays put once applied. - My mom actually likes it even more than I do! I'd definitely recommend this to parents who spend a lot of time outdoors.
Cons- I found it a bit tricky to apply. It's so thin that it can fold and trap air bubbles. You'll need quite a bit of practice to get it smooth and wrinkle-free like in the example photos. - It's not completely invisible under makeup. I preferred using it with just sunscreen when going out bare-faced.
Tip- This would be perfect for golfing or camping trips!
