It's so much more comfortable than Anessa Gold as it contains fewer irritating ingredients Compared to the Gold version, it's relatively richer, but not excessively so - ch*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 2, 2024
It absorbs well and isn't too thick, making it great for summer use. There doesn't seem to be any white cast, and it's fine to reapply during the day. Just note that its ability to brighten the complexion or conceal blemishes is quite minimal. The downside is that it's a Japanese product and a bit on the pricey side. Other than that, I can't think of any drawbacks. - oh*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2024
A truly rare sunscreen that suits me perfectly. It doesn't make my face red, doesn't hurt my eyes, and doesn't cause itching under my nose. It has just the right amount of white cast, providing a very subtle coverage. It's matte, so it doesn't make my skin look greasy. It's extremely drying. After about 3-4 hours, my face feels so tight. I wonder what's absorbing all the moisture. Even after washing my face, deeply hydrating, and sleeping, it still feels dry. I think I'll need to apply a thick layer of moisturizer underneath. - ez*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinApr 20, 2024
The way this absorbs is absolutely amazing. I adore formulas that glide on like water, but they're so hard to find... The ingredients must not agree with my skin because when I apply it, my face gets all bumpy and it's so unpleasant. My skin turns red and gets itchy too. I loved how it absorbs like water, but it just doesn't seem to work for me. Looking at other reviews, it seems many people don't experience the bumpiness I do, and I can't figure out why it doesn't suit me. If only the ingredients worked for me, I'd absolutely love to use this product. - dw****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 27, 2024
It's so gentle that I experienced no skin irritation. There's just a tiny, tiny bit of white cast. I've been using it so well that I honestly can't think of any downsides. - as*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 9, 2023
This is quite a decent sunscreen, but I'm surprised there aren't more reviews. While Anessa is known for its strong UV protection, it can sometimes be harsh on the skin, often causing blemishes. However, this mild version is noticeably gentler. It applies smoothly without feeling greasy, and being a hybrid sunscreen, it doesn't leave a strong white cast. It's great for combination dehydrated skin and those with complex skin types. Even though it's labeled as mild, using just a regular foam cleanser isn't enough to remove it completely. You'll need to use a dedicated oil cleanser or cleansing emulsion to thoroughly remove it. Also, as time passes, you might feel some deep dryness. If you have dry skin, you might find the hydration aspect a bit lacking. Apply it in small amounts multiple times. This way, you can apply the full recommended amount smoothly without leaving a white cast.
