This moisturizing sunscreen feels incredibly hydrating on the skin. It has a slightly whitening effect, which can be a bit too light for my shade 23 complexion if applied all over. Applying too much can result in a geisha-like appearance. So, before heading out, I thoroughly apply a different tube-type sunscreen, followed by foundation or cushion. Around lunchtime, I lightly reapply this sun cushion, focusing on the T-zone and especially the cheeks. It's great for both UV protection and a subtle brightening effect. For those with shade 23 skin, it can appear too white, so you need to apply it thinly and blend well. I tried cleaning the puff, but sunscreen residue kept coming out, which made me uncomfortable, so I ended up discarding it. I've found that pairing this with the water drop-shaped puff from Daiso works really well (the puff shown in the photo). - ri*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 17, 2025
• Perfect for those who dislike sunscreen but understand the importance of UV protection • This product is absolutely fantastic • Reapplication every 2 hours is key for sun protection, and this goes on smoothly over makeup without pilling. That's a huge plus. • Beyond just UV protection, regular use actually brightens your complexion! I gave some to my mother, and she's thrilled with how it's lightened her skin tone. Makes me feel proud. • The white cast is different from typical sunscreens. While there is some, it adheres evenly, creating a pretty brightening effect rather than looking unpleasant. It's similar to applying the Ameli Baek Seol cushion. The slight white cast also helps you see where you might have missed spots. I used to have darker patches around my hairline and temples from inconsistent application, but those have noticeably faded. • Excellent staying power. The subtle white cast makes it easy to see that it lasts. The brightening effect truly lasts all day. The price. Wait for a sale to purchase. If you're wondering if it's different from other products, it absolutely is. This has become a staple in my routine. - dt***Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2025
It seems to be a perfect match for cool-toned skin! I just applied this over my BB cream and found it so convenient and great. It seems to fade away too quickly... The quantity you get for the price is a bit disappointing. - a0******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2025
As someone with combination skin leaning towards dry, I loved how this product beautifully evens my skin tone and does a pretty good job controlling oil! I also appreciated that it doesn't have a noticeable scent, and the ingredients are great, so I didn't experience any blemishes and felt safe using it. What's more, I'm usually quite lazy about applying sunscreen, but with this one, I can just pat it on lightly without any pilling, and it still provides great sun protection. That's fantastic! While there aren't really any downsides, if I had to pick one, I'd say that despite not being a cushion foundation but a sun cushion, it's a bit pricier compared to other sun cushions, which is slightly disappointing. - dd***Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 19, 2024
I bought this based on a recommendation and I love how easy it is to carry around and reapply! It feels like I go through a whole tube so quickly. The amount you get for the price is a bit disappointing. - bb*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 26, 2024
It's perfect for quick touch-ups! Since I only apply makeup base for work, I need a little refresh before heading home, and this is my go-to product! It's not too powdery or oily, but leaves a nice, soft finish that makes me reach for it often. On weekends, I even use it alone for quick outings. The price...! Nearly $40 for the full-size product and one refill feels a bit steep. When you dab your puff in the product, you might think, 'Huh? This won't even show up.' But that's just the right amount. Apply it thinly for a natural finish. - jj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsSep 10, 2024
I like that it's a mineral sunscreen cushion, which makes it quite powerful... It didn't work well for me... I have extremely dry skin, and when I applied it without thorough skincare, it pilled terribly. There's also a white cast. It's only okay when used alone... And it makes my face a bit itchy. - sh*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 26, 2024
I use this when I don't feel like getting sunscreen on my hands. It's not sticky at all, and since the original sunscreen from this line is my holy grail, I'm really loving this sun cushion too. Compared to regular cushions, you need to press a bit harder to get the product out. - sh********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMar 5, 2024
I switched from my old sun cushion to this one, and I think it's a success! It seems gentle on the skin and does a great job at brightening my complexion. It feels a bit drying, and the brightening effect doesn't seem to last very long. - 21*****Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2024
The texture is closer to a cream, so it's not lightweight, but you can spread it thinly. Even though it takes time, if you layer it gradually, it seems to be less greasy and cause fewer blemishes. I bought it for touch-ups, and I've only been using it for about two weeks, but I'm really loving it since I've been able to use it without any skin issues so far. The fact that you need to build it up in thin layers to apply the right amount without it looking unnatural...? Also, both the cushion compact and the puff are quite large, which might not suit everyone's preferences. The puff is also on the firmer side.
