Pros
As the weather gets colder, this dry skin requires essential oils. -Good moisturizing When my skin gets dry, I mix 1-3 drops of the oil into my cream depending on my skin condition, and it keeps the moisture longer than using the cream alone. -No oiliness This seems to depend on the amount used and the application method. Personally, I prefer mixing the oil into the cream rather than using the oil alone as the final step in my skincare routine. Lately, I've been mixing about two drops into my cream, and it doesn't feel oily at all. -Clean application It's not an extremely heavy type of oil, so there's no sticky residue left behind, and the absorption isn't too slow either. It has a nice middle-ground feel, not too light or too heavy. -Versatile It's usable without any issues. I didn't experience any irritation on my skin.

Skin Type: Dry, Dehydrated, Lots of Wrinkles, Decent Texture Scent: They said they infused the oil with ginseng, and the real ginseng scent was so nice! It had a more premium feel, not an artificial fragrance. Texture: I was worried the oil would be super thick, but it was just less oily and more watery like an essence, so it wasn't burdensome to use. Absorption: As the texture suggested, it absorbed well like an essence! But I think it's better to mix it with a cream rather than using it alone - using it alone felt a bit fleeting. Effects: Lately my skin has been getting very dry and the cold wind wasn't helping, so regular creams weren't enough. Using the oil together with a cream really improved the hydration and reduced tightness a lot!! I've tried all kinds of face oils, and this one was the most satisfying!! For those with dry skin like me who feel dryness regardless of oil, this is something you can use without burden. I'll recommend this to people with dry skin, and I'm planning to gift it to my mom later on too.

Pros
Even though I have combination skin, it gets dry in the winter, so I've been using jojoba oil since the year before last. I've never used any other type of oil on my face. It's not greasy and feels light / It's not sticky and has a clean, light texture, more like a rich lotion than an oil. (With jojoba oil, you can just pour it out freely, but this oil is more expensive and the instructions recommend dispensing about 2 drops onto your palm, rubbing them together, and then applying the warmth to your face, which may be why I experienced it this way!) I don't use many drops, but the moisturizing power is pretty good. I don't use it alone, but apply it after toning or using pads to smooth my skin texture.
Cons
The dispenser is the same as the one I dislike for the iHerb tea tree oil... The contents are nice, but it's hard to control the amount I want to use. I tried to capture the difficulty in the photo, but the drops fell randomly, so it didn't work out. With the tea tree oil, towards the end, it would start dripping out the side, so I'm worried this one might do that too. Since the volume is so small, I'm worried that a dropper-style dispenser would lead to wasteful use, so this type of dispenser was probably chosen for that reason...
Tip
It's a bit pricey, but the concept and scent are great, so I think it would make a wonderful gift for an adult, along with Sulwhasoo products.

As soon as I opened the lid, the aroma of red ginseng was so soothing. I didn't know it was a product made by Cheong Kwan Jang, but it has a premium feel to it. And even with just 1 or 2 drops applied, the oil is quite concentrated, so the scent lingers subtly for quite a long time. If I apply it like a serum after toner and basic skincare in the evening before bed, I feel soothed throughout the night. The oil has a deep yellow color, but it absorbs well without any greasiness. It's the perfect product for this time of year when the weather is rapidly becoming dry, as it helps address dryness. The packaging also feels luxurious, like a precious item, so I think it would make a great gift. Especially for parents! The packaging and price range seem suitable for parents or those in their 40s and above.
Cons
I was quite surprised that the 15g product costs a whopping 120,000 won, but then I understood the price when they said it's extracted with just 1 drop from each red ginseng root by Cheong Kwan Jang. So the price seems justified in a way.
