It provides a moderate brightening effect, with a shade similar to #21. True to its name, it covers pores well - small pores can be easily concealed without the need for a primer. It applies silkily without any stickiness, finishing with a matte, powdery feel that's as if you've already applied setting powder.
ConsThe adherence to the skin isn't particularly good, so I'm not sure if it really enhances the skin's appearance. Being a matte product, it applies somewhat heavily and leaves a dry feeling at the end. Applying with fingers or a brush leaves marks, so using a puff works best. The breakdown is terrible - it clumps, lifts, and emphasizes pores to an unsightly degree. It doesn't pair well with any foundation. Even with high-quality foundations, it pills and clumps, forcing a foundation-free look. The way it breaks down is unattractive on its own, and when mixed with foundation, it deteriorates even more unpleasantly.
TipThe formula tends to leave marks easily and doesn't adhere well to the skin, so it's best applied by patting it on with a puff. Recommended for use on its own!

I bought it knowing it wouldn't brighten my complexion, but it's so oily and causes extreme darkening when I layer other products on top. I really miss the original No Sebum powder... That was truly great. This one is excessively oily and causes severe darkening.
ConsThe darkening effect is no joke... Even though it's beige, when you layer it, it turns your skin so dark. And why is it so incredibly rich in oil?
TipI won't buy this again. I'd rather purchase a different type of hydrating sunscreen.
