I searched high and low but couldn't find anything similar. Since mineral sunscreens work well for me, I only look for those. When I heard this product was comparable, I gave it a try. While the texture isn't quite the same, the color and finish are similar. What really impressed me is how well it covers pores! Now I just apply this sunscreen and I'm good to go!
ConsThe scent... The sunscreen fragrance is so strong it gives me a headache. It keeps wafting up into my nose. The typical sunscreen smell is incredibly potent in this one. If it weren't for the smell, I'd keep using this product, but it's just too overpowering. I'm going to have to look for something else...
TipTry using it as a primer substitute - it really does an excellent job covering pores. It's also great for going foundation-free. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to fragrances.

This one is perfect for sensitive skin users! Mineral filters, almost no white cast, not greasy or sticky. Please don't discontinue this one! _________________________________________ # One month update: It transfers a lot onto masks, so I switched to Goodal sunscreen recently. # Eventually, I switched to Labno Tone-Up Sunscreen because Goodal caused blemishes. TrueCare is the only sunscreen I've used for more than two bottles. So far, it's the most satisfying sunscreen, hoping this new one works well... - Skin type: Combination, extremely sensitive (Usually no blemishes, but prone if using wrong products) - Sunscreens I've tried: * As Is To Be (Mineral - Extreme white cast and blemish outbreak. Bought it due to good Hwahae Testers reviews, big disappointment... Gave it to mom, replaced photo with a sample sheet mask) * A-True-Age (? - Great protection, but irritating for daily use) * Enul (? - 300ml large size, good for daily body use) * Dalba Mild (Mineral - Slight white cast, caused blemishes) * Birch Tree Moisture (Chemical - Fine at first, but gradually caused blemishes)
ConsThe amount! Wish it came in a larger size. And the price... haha If they could lower it a bit... or at least not discontinue it. The scent is a bit odd since it's fragrance-free, but I think it's much better for the skin than scented products. ———————————————————————- # One month update: It transfers a lot onto masks, so I switched to Goodal sunscreen recently.
TipApply the sunscreen on the smooth, firm side of the puff and pat it in. You'll get flawless-looking skin even without makeup (see photo 0). Almost no white cast, great for applying makeup. Pairs perfectly with YSL cushion foundation.

Not sure if it's the matte finish or what, but when I use this product, I hardly need to use blotting papers anymore. It's amazing how it keeps oil at bay (just my personal experience!). - Able to go foundation-free While my skin isn't perfect, it's quite sensitive, so I try to minimize my skincare routine. This product alone provides sun protection, evens out my skin tone nicely, and even makes my pores appear slightly smaller, giving my skin a cleaner look overall. It's become a staple in my routine. *This is just my personal experience
Cons- The scent The smell... well, if you don't actively sniff it, you might not notice. But if you take a good whiff, there's a distinct plastic-like scent. Fortunately, the smell doesn't linger after application, so it wasn't a major drawback for me.
Tip- Powder finish I have extremely oily skin, so I'm not a fan of the shine that appears after application... While this product does have a matte finish, my oil-prone skin still manages to create a slight sheen, so I always set it with powder. - If it feels too matte and your skin feels tight, amp up the hydration in your skincare routine! I didn't experience this at first, but at some point, certain areas like my cheeks started to feel a bit tight. When I switched to a more hydrating and slightly moisturizing base skincare routine, the tightness disappeared.

As described, this sunscreen also acts as a primer, seeming to fill in pores - how should I put it? I could feel my skin looking more refined. While it doesn't provide perfect tone-up, it evens out the skin tone and gives an overall brightening effect. I wouldn't recommend it for those looking for foundation-like coverage. When applied before cushion foundation, it definitely seems to prevent makeup from pilling.
ConsThe scent is a bit off-putting, with that artificial fragrance typical of some cosmetics... You might get used to it over time, but it could be uncomfortable at first. I also deducted a star because of some eye irritation... My previous sunscreen caused less eye irritation, but this one tends to sting the eyes a bit.
TipIn the morning, after reducing skin heat with toner pads and applying a small amount of moisturizer, I use a spatula to apply this sunscreen. When I put on cushion foundation afterwards, it doesn't separate, and I feel like I can skip the primer step. Since it has a cream texture, there wasn't much difference when applied by hand.
