My skin type is combination-oily. It's moisturizing and absorbs quickly! In the winter, it doesn't provide enough hydration, so I have to apply extra cream. When it gets warmer, just using a lotion seems sufficient. After using the ampoule, I immediately apply the Esteé Cream, but it seems like it's lacking in deep hydration. I purchased the entire set! During the day, I only use the lotion to complete my basic skincare routine, and this lotion is highly moisturizing yet lightweight, so I've been using it comfortably throughout the seasons. The slightly runny texture makes it easy to apply on the face. After massaging it in, it absorbs quickly!! It provides great hydration without any dryness. In the winter, I sometimes do a double layer. However, I believe building a strong serum/ampoule base is the most important thing. If you have that covered, this lotion can be sufficient to complete your routine! Originally it came in a regular jar, but this time I purchased the pump-style packaging, which is more convenient. The runny texture sometimes made it difficult to control the amount, but the pump has solved that issue! I'm also satisfied that the packaging is easy to recycle.👍

For dry skin types, it's obvious that an additional cream is necessary. But in my case, even though I have dry skin, I wanted to use this product to soothe and tighten my skin to prevent breakouts from clogged pores. When applied, it feels really refreshing, so I think it would be great for oily skin types as well. The cost-effectiveness is also good, and it worked really well for soothing and tightening my skin. Of course, an additional cream is still necessary for dry skin types. Its role is similar to a toner, and the absorption is no joke.
