  Pros

  I've always been skeptical about bar soaps and exclusively used foam cleansers, but... my two teenage sons showed zero interest in foam cleansers, so I decided to give this a try. One of my sons has blemishes, so I'm usually quite vocal about proper cleansing. Surprisingly, they seem to find this bar soap easier to use. I'll report back on its effectiveness after we've used it for a while longer. The photo was taken immediately after use, so it's quite revealing.

  Cons

  There's nothing particularly negative to report. When used with a foam net, it produces rich lather, and it's nearly fragrance-free, making it comfortable to use.

  Pros

  From day 3, I could visibly see blemishes and new breakouts disappearing. Highly recommended for those with oily skin.

  Cons

  Hmm... I'm not sure if it's because my skin isn't particularly oily, but about 3 hours after washing, my skin starts to feel tight and crack. Also, the scent... it's not great.

  Tip

  It doesn't lather up too much, so I washed my face in two parts - once above the eyes and once below.

  Pros

  Since it's a soap for blemishes, the scent is quite strong. It really caught me off guard! I'd only recommend this for oily, acne-prone skin. The cleansing effectiveness is decent though.

  As commonly mentioned in other reviews, the fragrance is really unpleasant. It's so bad that it makes me not want to use it at all. Unless you have oily, acne-prone skin, I wouldn't even recommend this as a regular hand soap for other skin types.

  Pros

  I tried it for the first time today after it arrived, and it lathers up nicely. It also seems to leave less of an oily feeling!

  Cons

  The scent was a bit disappointing. It's like a concentrated barley tea aroma. Even though I like barley tea, the fragrance was too strong, which was a letdown.

  When I use it, my skin doesn't feel tight, and it lathers well. The scent is generally pleasant too - it's like a grain or rice fragrance that's not overpowering. I'd love to try their folliculitis soap next!

  Those sensitive to fragrances might find it a bit disappointing as I noticed a slightly musty scent. Also, it might be a bit harsh for those with dry skin.

  Using a Daiso foam net will make the lather even softer and more pleasant to use. Remember to wash your hands well before cleansing. For those with acne or folliculitis, instead of using your regular towel, get a separate face towel. Gently pat your face dry once a day to avoid dehydration, then apply a hydrating moisturizer for best results!
