This is my first time trying a cleansing bar, and it's surprisingly good! I'm definitely considering using it in the future. Usually, my face feels super tight after cleansing, but not with this one. Plus, it noticeably calms my skin down. The scent is a bit... well... strange, but oddly addictive? It was absolutely wonderful! They say natural soap is good for you, and it's so true. I highly recommend this product. There weren't any! It's really great! After wearing makeup, I was worried that cleansing with just soap instead of foam cleanser might not be effective enough. However, this soap removed my makeup incredibly well, leaving my skin squeaky clean with excellent cleansing effectiveness. During the first week of use, I didn't notice dramatic improvements in skin texture or blemishes, which made me wonder if I had set my expectations too high. But after consistently using it for about a month, I could clearly see that my sebum production and uneven texture had significantly reduced, and my skin became noticeably smoother! I highly recommend those with oily skin to give this a try and use it regularly. What's great is that it's gentler than most foam cleansers, making it suitable even for those with super sensitive skin! Since it's in soap form, it can be a bit of a hassle to dry and maintain it properly after use to prevent contamination. I received the mini Dad Soap on April 1st, and after using it consistently for 3-4 days, two blemishes on my face disappeared!!! Wow... this is truly a holy grail product. Honestly, while there are solutions for pustular acne, regular blemishes seem impossible to deal with, right? They hurt when you touch them too! But this... it made them vanish in just 3-4 days, wow!! This is a must-buy!! I don't wear heavy makeup, so I can't speak much to its cleansing effectiveness, but it still removes my light makeup well. Other cleansers often leave some tint residue on my lips, but Dad Soap really... removes everything (pure bliss...). That's why I'm planning to buy the larger size!! Eek! Please don't discontinue this and keep selling it for like 80 years... (sigh..) Personally, I didn't experience any downsides!! I have combination dehydrated skin, but there was no deep dryness after using the soap when I applied toner, so I liked it!! For the small soap, you can typically use 1-2 pieces for about 1-2 weeks. The foam is so soft and fluffy, forming easily without any effort to create lather. It removes makeup effectively too. After using it for just two days, I can already feel a significant improvement in my skin. Well... I've always struggled with tiny blemishes on my forehead, but this product is absolutely incredible! After using it consistently, those pesky little bumps have practically vanished. It's seriously amazing, I can't believe how well it works! Honestly, I can't think of any downsides. It just seems great overall. I've always been skeptical about bar soaps and exclusively used foam cleansers, but... my two teenage sons showed zero interest in foam cleansers, so I decided to give this a try. One of my sons has blemishes, so I'm usually quite vocal about proper cleansing. Surprisingly, they seem to find this bar soap easier to use. I'll report back on its effectiveness after we've used it for a while longer. The photo was taken immediately after use, so it's quite revealing. There's nothing particularly negative to report. From day 3, I could visibly see blemishes and new breakouts disappearing. Highly recommended for those with oily skin. Hmm... I'm not sure if it's because my skin isn't particularly oily, but about 3 hours after washing, my skin starts to feel tight and crack. Also, the scent... it's not great. It doesn't lather up too much, so I washed my face in two parts - once above the eyes and once below.
