Among the various shampoos I use, Pantene Forte is always my go-to for a cool and refreshing scalp experience that helps reduce scalp heat. It's a staple in my hair care routine. In the past, I used to purchase it through overseas shopping, but now it's widely available here, making it easier to buy. With frequent promotions, it's more cost-effective to purchase locally rather than dealing with international shipping fees. I've been using it consistently. First and foremost, it leaves my scalp feeling clean and cool. You can immediately feel the reduction in scalp heat while shampooing. I primarily use this shampoo during summer, and during seasonal changes, I alternate it with a moisture line a few times a week or whenever my scalp feels a bit uncomfortable. Due to its strong cleansing effectiveness, it might feel less nourishing at times. However, using a hair mask or treatment afterwards greatly improves this. For best results in reducing scalp heat, I recommend leaving the shampoo on for a bit before rinsing. I typically use it for nighttime washes to ensure a clean scalp before bed. - gk********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 3, 2025
Shiseido's shampoo lives up to its name. It delivers shine, smoothness, and bounce that sets it apart from other shampoos. The scalp oil removal is noticeably different. When you use it, you can really feel the reduction in oiliness. While it may cause some dryness and itching, these effects are minimal. Your scalp might feel a bit dry due to the oil reduction, but that's normal. It's excellent for oily scalps. Despite being formulated for oily hair, it doesn't make your hair excessively stiff, so you won't have to deal with tangling. The price is on the higher side, and you need to be careful to purchase from reputable sources to avoid counterfeits. Interestingly, the shampoo in this line seems to outperform the treatment. It appears to be the ultimate shampoo for those with oily scalps. - ma*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 29, 2024
A holy grail shampoo for oily scalp nomads - Seborrheic dermatitis / Super oily scalp / Oil buildup by evening after morning wash / Sensitive scalp / Thin hair, looking for a shampoo that prevents hair loss I was originally using Medavita, but it was too expensive. While searching for similar shampoos, I discovered this product! First off, I haven't had any seborrheic dermatitis flare-ups since using this shampoo. The menthol? ingredient gives an incredibly refreshing sensation, and it feels like it's thoroughly cleansing my oily scalp. As a bonus, you only need a small amount to create a rich lather! The scent is like a crisp forest...? It just has a cool, refreshing fragrance. Surprisingly, I've noticed less hair fall since using this shampoo. I plan to stick with this Shiseido shampoo for the foreseeable future. As expected from an oily scalp shampoo, it can leave your hair feeling a bit stiff after washing. That's why I've made a deep conditioning treatment an essential part of my routine. I highly recommend this for oily scalps... It's truly a match for those with extremely oily scalps, sensitive skin, and all the scalp issues. It's honestly comparable to Medavita. - wo*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2024
It's important to carefully consider your skin type, whether it's oily or dry, and choose the right product accordingly! I accidentally bought the dry skin version for my oily skin, but after reordering the correct one, I'm really satisfied with it. For those with dry skin, I highly recommend using the dry skin type version~ - he*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJul 17, 2023
This is perfect for oily scalps. My scalp used to be extremely oily, sticky, and itchy, but since I started using this, the stickiness has disappeared and the itching has stopped. It doesn't lather up very well. The price is on the higher side. If you only use the shampoo, your hair can feel a bit stiff. - ha********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 15, 2023
Cleansing effectiveness for scalp: Average Hair condition after shampooing: Becomes a bit stiff, so a treatment is necessary It's good at removing oil, but rather than giving that refreshed scalp feeling, it seems to strip away all the oils. That's why I'd say the cleansing power is average. Other than that, it lathers well and is decent overall. The scent is a subtle, slightly herbal aroma, but after rinsing, there's almost no fragrance left. My scalp tends to be oily while my hair ends are dry, so I found it less drying to only lather the shampoo on my scalp. Initially, I was washing my whole hair and using a treatment, but even that left my hair dry, so I switched to this method.
