  There's nothing good to say, unfortunately... My first retinol experience was a total disaster! Those with sensitive skin, please be extremely careful. I had been using only gentle products and hadn't had a single blemish lately. But after trying retinol just once, I broke out in bumpy acne.

  Cons

  Now that I'm in my late 20s, I thought I should start managing my elasticity! That idea turned out to be a big mistake... I used the tiniest amount, just a rice grain-sized drop, and carefully applied it to my forehead, nose bridge, and cheeks. Even with such a small amount, I still developed small bumps and red blemishes. I should have just saved my money for professional dermatological treatments instead. I beg those with sensitive skin to be cautious with retinol. I noticed a slight itching sensation right after applying it. Just one use of my first retinol product left my skin irritated and bumpy. I don't think I'll be able to use retinol again in the future. Since that one application, I've only been using soothing products to calm my skin. I spent good money on this, but now I'm not sure what to do with it. I'm scared to sell it in case someone else has a bad reaction. I'm considering just throwing it away.

  I was thinking about trying a cheaper retinol product, but decided to go for an expensive one since I have sensitive skin. It seems that for those with sensitive skin, sticking to gentle products is truly the best option.

  The texture is great. It absorbs well and has excellent application.

  Cons

  After using it for two days, I had an allergic-like reaction that was really irritating. It wasn't severe, but the symptoms were similar to when I'm feeling really under the weather. I might try it again once it subsides. I was surprised because I've never had this reaction with other retinol products. The ingredients seem to be quite potent. I hope it's effective when used during times of better skin condition.

  For me, there's absolutely nothing good to say... Not a single thing...

  Cons

  After applying it and sleeping, I woke up with something like hives or tiny blemishes. It was a bit itchy right after application, but this is just too much... I'm not sure if it's the shea butter that doesn't agree with me or what. I bought this set on sale at Ol** without checking the ingredients, and my face completely broke out. When I finally looked at the ingredients, I was devastated... If you have super sensitive skin, please make sure to test it before purchasing!!!!

  Pros

  For about three days after using it, my skin felt absolutely amazing! I applied a small amount morning and evening, and it made my skin texture smoother and even tightened my pores, which was great.

  Cons

  Unfortunately, after the third day, things took a turn for the worse. I tried adjusting the amount, only applying it in the evening, and even taking breaks for a couple of days before reapplying, but I kept getting blemishes. I wonder if it's because of the shea butter - my skin doesn't usually agree with it. Even though it worked well for those first three days and I tried various approaches, I kept getting inflamed, persistent acne in different areas, so I had to give up. I'm planning to give it another shot when my skin is in better condition.

  Pros

  Incredibly hydrating and I applied it before bed. The fragrance-free formula made it comfortable to use. Plus, the packaging is really pretty!

  Cons

  I'm not sure if retinol doesn't suit me, but my skin became blotchy and I noticed some small bumps appearing. Maybe I'm not at the right age for retinol yet. While it's supposed to be suitable for sensitive skin, it seems it doesn't agree with me.

  The absorption and application are absolutely fantastic. The scent isn't overpowering and it's not irritating at all. I think it would be perfectly fine to use this as part of your daily routine.

  Cons

  As someone with sensitive, blemish-prone, oily skin, this product suddenly caused blemishes to appear on my previously calm skin. Upon checking the ingredients, I found it contains PEG (polyethylene glycol). I've always avoided such ingredients in cosmetics, but unfortunately, I used this sample without checking first, and ended up with pimples.

  This serum is so hydrating, you only need to apply it once for your skin to feel moisturized. Since I've been using it consistently, the Inner Glow and texture of my skin have been incredible. I didn't have many visible pores to begin with, but now even those are barely noticeable.

  When I first used it, I experienced slight itching. The next day, I noticed some redness in the middle of my face, which is a common side effect of retinol. So I stopped using it for a few days, then tried again. Since there were no adverse reactions after that, I've been using it daily.
