Highly recommended! I had a bad experience with another brand's retinol cream. I started with a rice-grain-sized amount, gradually increased it when I thought I was used to it, and ended up with peeling skin. That made me wary of retinol for a while. But the idea of retinol kept coming back to me. So I decided to give it another try with this product, which is said to be less irritating. And wow, it's fantastic! No skin irritation (except for the expected tingling on cuts or peeled areas). You can use it morning or night, even twice a day, without any issues. I had a deep blemish (or was it inflammation?) on my chin near the corner of my mouth that kept flaring up and spreading for almost a month. After using this, it finally calmed down. I haven't been using it long enough to see effects on wrinkles or pores, but I feel like my skin barrier has become stronger. I bought it mainly for the skin barrier improvement mentioned in the product details, so I'm satisfied. The lid is plastic, and the container holding the product feels like ceramic - nice touch! I'd recommend this to retinol beginners, those with sensitive skin, and anyone who wants to apply their skincare without overthinking it! Nothing negative to report. Those looking for retinol's powerful effects on pore tightening, wrinkle improvement, and elasticity might find it a bit lacking. Don't use this after exfoliating (scrubs, etc.)! (Important) Make sure to hydrate well before and after the retinol step -> This reduces irritation and increases effectiveness Also, if you're using this during the day, don't forget to apply sunscreen when going out. If you misuse retinol and your skin peels, remove all active products, minimize your skincare routine, and use (ointment) + Bepanthen to seal in moisture. Then pray for quick healing. - i7******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 8, 2025
After using it for a while, I can say it absorbs well and isn't bad overall. While I didn't notice dramatic results, I'd recommend it more for dry skin than oily skin. If you have super sensitive skin, it might actually cause blemishes. For extremely oily skin, this product isn't ideal. It's so rich that you can barely use other serums with it. - gr******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesJun 6, 2025
There's nothing good to say, unfortunately... My first retinol experience was a total disaster! Those with sensitive skin, please be extremely careful. I had been using only gentle products and hadn't had a single blemish lately. But after trying retinol just once, I broke out in bumpy acne. Now that I'm in my late 20s, I thought I should start managing my elasticity! That idea turned out to be a big mistake... I used the tiniest amount, just a rice grain-sized drop, and carefully applied it to my forehead, nose bridge, and cheeks. Even with such a small amount, I still developed small bumps and red blemishes. I should have just saved my money for professional dermatological treatments instead. I beg those with sensitive skin to be cautious with retinol. I noticed a slight itching sensation right after applying it. Just one use of my first retinol product left my skin irritated and bumpy. I don't think I'll be able to use retinol again in the future. Since that one application, I've only been using soothing products to calm my skin. I spent good money on this, but now I'm not sure what to do with it. I'm scared to sell it in case someone else has a bad reaction. I'm considering just throwing it away. I was thinking about trying a cheaper retinol product, but decided to go for an expensive one since I have sensitive skin. It seems that for those with sensitive skin, sticking to gentle products is truly the best option. - lo******RecommendedJun 6, 2025
This is my go-to retinol serum that I use consistently. I love how gentle it is without any tingling sensation. It absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling fresh. I've never experienced any blemishes from using it. Among all the serums I'm using, this is my absolute favorite. If there's one downside, it would only be the price. - re******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 4, 2025

This gentle serum has a low retinol concentration, making it perfect for daily use, both morning and night, without any worries. It's a pleasure to apply and you can really feel the pore-tightening effects and skin texture improvement. I highly recommend it. When you're hesitant about using high-concentration retinol consistently or when your skin isn't at its best, the IOPE Super Bounce Serum is an excellent alternative. For a mild product, it's truly unparalleled. While it's labeled as having 0.0 irritation and I, with my sensitive skin, didn't experience any issues, individual results may vary. Those with extremely sensitive skin should still exercise caution. Remember, when using any skincare product in the morning, it's crucial to pair it with a sunscreen that has both SPF and PA ratings. This helps prevent irritation and hyperpigmentation. - na*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 1, 2025
The firming effects are definitely noticeable! I could feel a slight tightening around my eyes and smile lines. With consistent use, you'll notice your skin becoming more supple and firm. The texture isn't runny, but rather a rich cream-gel consistency that glides on smoothly and absorbs quickly. It's not too greasy, making it suitable for combination skin types as well! There's a slight tingling sensation when skin is sensitive I noticed a bit of irritation when my skin wasn't in the best condition. Make sure to properly prep your skin with a good skincare routine to minimize any potential irritation. For best results, apply this product after thoroughly cleansing and toning your skin. If you have particularly sensitive skin, you might want to do a patch test first. Remember, consistency is key when it comes to seeing improvements in skin elasticity and firmness. - rl*******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2025
It's not very irritating Beginners can use it without worry! I always noticed my skin getting lighter when using retinol Apparently, you can apply it in the morning too Usually there's no irritation, but When my skin isn't in great condition, the area around my mouth always gets irritated Be careful and avoid the area around your mouth - hy*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 29, 2025
The application and absorption are top-notch! Despite being a retinol product, it spreads quickly and easily. It's not overwhelming, which makes me very satisfied! Plus, it's quite moisturizing. As expected with a serum, using it alone isn't quite enough! It's essential to follow up with a cream. This product works hard to deliver results. Its absorbs well without feeling sticky, making it perfect for layering in your skincare routine. While it provides good hydration, those with combination dehydrated skin or those prone to deep dryness might want to pair it with a richer moisturizer for optimal results. - al*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 25, 2025
It absorbs lightly and has a slightly runny texture, making it easy to apply. When I use it before bed, I can definitely feel my complexion has improved by morning. It's quite pricey and the amount is small, so it runs out quickly. Since it's said to be sensitive to sunlight, I only apply it at night.
