Pros

1. I'm satisfied that this lip balm has sun protection (surprisingly few lip balms offer UV protection) 2. Convenient size for carrying around 3. Fragrance-free, so it's gentle and suitable for everyone

Cons

1. It tends to break more easily compared to other lip balms 2. If you apply too much, it feels greasy and doesn't absorb well

Pros

It's affordable and available at Daiso, with great hydration and no irritation.

Cons

There's nothing to complain about... Really, I can't find any downsides. Both the old and new versions are great.

Tip

It's perfect to apply before matte lipstick, when you have dead skin cells on chapped lips, or before bed.

Pros

The ingredients are great, causing no irritation and being gentle on the skin. After application, it makes my skin incredibly hydrated. It also has sun protection, which is reassuring. I apply it on dry nights before bed. I'm currently using my second bottle!

Cons

While it does moisturize, it feels a bit too rich, which is slightly disappointing. Also, I'm not sure if it's just me, but as I use it, there's a slightly unpleasant smell that develops.

Tip

Here's my tip: Apply a generous amount to your lips before bed, and when you wake up, gently wipe with a wet wipe. The dead skin cells disappear completely. I've found this product to be the best for gently removing dead skin cells.

Pros

This product has UV blocking functionality. Since my skin is dry and extremely sensitive, I have sun allergies and my lips start to sting when I go outside on hot days. However, this product has a small amount of UV blocking function, so it's good to apply during the day. It is colorless and odorless, and non-irritating. The texture is just right, not too soft or too quickly used up. The moisturizing power is moderate, not bad. And the packaging is a type where you twist the middle navy part to raise it, rather than twisting from the bottom, which makes it much more stable and convenient (these small differences seem to make the company stand out).

Cons

Although it's not much, there's a downside for my extremely dry lips that need to be constantly reapplied with lip balm. Since I have to reapply it often, I wish there were products with a nicer color payoff.

Tip

I just reapply it throughout the day. Personally, at night I use a richer product.
