These oily formulas tend to stay on overnight, leaving some moisture by morning. It's perfect for those who sleep with their mouth open, waking up with parched lips and a dry mouth area. If that's you, try this rich balm - it'll be a game-changer! I used to swear by Lapnos' ceramide lip balm, but when I couldn't find it, I luckily stumbled upon this at Olive Young. What a relief to find a similar product! It's an unbeatable choice for nighttime application, so give it a shot!

  While the richness is a plus, it might be a bit much for everyday use. I usually wipe my lips clean after eating, apply balm, then lipstick (I can't skip balm due to dryness).   Pros

  As someone whose lips are chapped 365 days a year, lip balm is a must-have even in the height of summer. I've tried many lip balms, but nothing compares to this one. It's affordable and even provides sun protection!

  Cons

  It does leave a bit of a shine, but isn't that what lip balm is supposed to do? I wish they'd release a tinted version too. I'd buy that in a heartbeat! Maybe someday...

  The ingredients are great, causing no irritation and being gentle on the skin. After application, it makes my skin incredibly hydrated. It also has sun protection, which is reassuring. I apply it on dry nights before bed. I'm currently using my second bottle!

  While it does moisturize, it feels a bit too rich, which is slightly disappointing. Also, I'm not sure if it's just me, but as I use it, there's a slightly unpleasant smell that develops.

  Here's my tip: Apply a generous amount to your lips before bed, and when you wake up, gently wipe with a wet wipe. The dead skin cells disappear completely. I've found this product to be the best for gently removing dead skin cells.

  There's a slight scent that might be noticeable. When applied to dry, chapped lips with a lot of dead skin cells, it tends to sit on top rather than absorb. It feels like only the surface of the lips is getting moisturized.
