I really like it because it allows me to cleanse my face gently without any dryness! In the past, I was the type who didn't have any skin troubles or concerns, and I could use just about anything. However, over the past year, I've been using the wrong skincare products, which has completely destroyed my skin barrier. Now I have very sensitive and thin, pale skin, and even the slightest mismatch causes troublesome breakouts that won't go away. As a result, I've been obsessed with finding the right cleansing and moisturizing products that work for me. The morning cleanser I've settled on is the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser! I used to think that a good cleanser had to produce a lot of lather, but this product cleanses my skin gently without any foam, while still providing plenty of hydration.

It's incredibly gentle. I've never had any trouble using it, and it's a cleanser that covers the face and body, so it's perfect to take with you when traveling - you can just decant it into a smaller container.
Cons
The formula is a bit... it has the feeling of diluted cleansing foam that we're familiar with. Maybe due to the formula, the lather is really not there.

The best cleanser After using retinol, my skin has been irritated for the past month... Even washing with just Dove soap, the redness wouldn't go away. But I remembered that I used to really like this as a morning cleanser, so I started using it again and it's the best cleanser! It's great to use when my skin barrier is compromised, or for morning cleansing. Since I usually just use sunscreen, I think I can get away with just using this cleanser after cleansing water. It's inexpensive, easy to find, gentle... There don't seem to be any downsides?

Wow, wow... the trustworthy Cetaphil No irritation, no dryness, cleanses gently... Highly recommended for all skin types, especially dry/combination skin!! There's no tightness at all after cleansing ㅎㅎ As an oily-skinned person, I use it lightly to remove excess oil during the day or as a morning cleanser. The large size and great value are also big pluses. Since it doesn't lather much, it's easy to rinse off and wipe clean. The pump bottle is also a great convenience!
Cons
I have extremely oily skin, so there's still a bit of residue. On days when my oil production is high, Cetaphil alone leaves me feeling a bit greasy..
Tip
When I just have sunscreen on, cleansing with Cetaphil once and then using a regular cleanser works well to get my skin thoroughly clean without taking too long ㅎㅎ

This was a toner with alcohol in it 10 years ago, I think it was Biore* or Clarin*. Anyway, back then my skin flipped over, turned red, itchy, stinging, and I couldn't put anything on it. I bought it on the recommendation of a dermatologist I rushed to see. At first, I just used it for a few days, washing my face and using the cream, and my skin recovered. It's so gentle, isn't it? It's good and gentle enough to use on babies' skin or seborrheic dermatitis.
