My combination skin transformed into normal skin after using this for over a month. The oil and moisture balance is absolutely fantastic! When applying, it doesn't feel fresh but rather has a sticky, dense texture... It's also difficult to control the amount when pouring it out. - sa******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 6, 2024
If it's this good, it's worth buying at this price.. Makeup applies well over it There's a noticeable difference when you apply this before makeup It's hydrating but doesn't make your skin greasy, so it won't interfere with your makeup at all It's so gentle that it absolutely won't cause any blemishes This is my first time trying Origins, and now I finally understand why everyone raves about it.. Price While it feels expensive, it's definitely worth the cost The watery texture might slip through your fingers and spill on the floor Since it's pricey, even a small spill feels like a waste.. - ah****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedMay 19, 2024
1. Texture Although it's labeled as an emulsion, it feels more like a toner. It's incredibly lightweight! It has a water-like consistency. 2. Application It applies smoothly, just like water. I usually layer it multiple times and pat it in. This method helps combat deep dryness and gives a cooling sensation that seems to reduce redness. It also has a nice balance of richness that helps makeup adhere well. I'd recommend it as a great base for makeup application! 3. Hydration The water-like texture definitely gives an instant boost of hydration. The balanced richness helps the moisturizing effect last longer. It's absolutely not sticky! It has just the right amount of richness that even those with oily skin would appreciate. It does an excellent job balancing oil and moisture. The only downside is that the price is a bit steep, but it's satisfying in every other aspect. For best results, first use it as a toner, then pat it in. This helps remove dead skin cells and maintains hydration for a longer time! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 13, 2024
Even though I have super sensitive skin, this toner doesn't make my skin itchy. I frequently use this toner along with Pyrrha's purple serum. I couldn't find any faults with this toner - yh******Dry SkinRecommendedMar 6, 2024
When I apply this with a cotton pad, the moisturizing effect is completely different from regular toners. Being an emulsion, it feels much more hydrating and nourishing. After using it, I've noticed my skin texture has improved. The scent might not be the best, but I'm still satisfied with it and continue to use it. When you soak a cotton pad with this emulsion, there's enough product to cover your entire face. You can even use the remainder to smooth over your neck, collarbone, and shoulders for extra nourishment. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedMar 1, 2024
My face felt incredibly soft and smooth the morning after using this at night Sometimes it causes blemishes when I'm not feeling well or when it doesn't mix well with my cream - ma*********Dry SkinRecommendedFeb 7, 2024
I was surprised it was an emulsion since it had a watery texture. Initially, I thought it was just another ordinary toner, but it's actually helping calm the blemishes under my chin. Even though they were a bit old and inflamed, this toner is working wonders. I've temporarily stopped using my previous toner due to irritation and I'm exclusively using this one now. It has a herbal scent, possibly due to fermented ingredients. However, I can overlook this because of its soothing effects. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey. As far as I know, you just apply it like a regular toner after cleansing as the first step in your skincare routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 16, 2024
After finishing my fermented toner, I've come full circle and returned to Origins, which I used back in college! Though it's called an emulsion, it's actually a watery toner! That's always been a confusing point. It's a toner you can use all year round. There's no stickiness, and it gives a light, healthy feeling to the skin. It's a shame it's expensive, and now there's no way to purchase it from stores in Korea anymore, which is disappointing! - 03*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 2, 2023
As someone with sensitive combination skin, I find this product delightfully rich and pleasant. It's not overly greasy, striking just the right balance. However, I'm not sure about any significant results. It has a scent that might be hit or miss for some people. (I personally liked it.) - di***Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 12, 2023
Though labeled as an emulsion, it has a watery texture like a toner. The scent is subtle, not overpowering. It gives a refreshing feeling upon application. True to Origins' reputation, it's an incredibly gentle toner. It's become a staple for my somewhat sensitive skin. Being so mild, it doesn't cause any blemishes and makes my skin feel firmer. I've tried switching to other products, but they caused irritation, making me return to this medicinal-feeling emulsion (toner). It's so gentle that anyone can use it without issues. The name 'emulsion' can be misleading. It's disappointing that it's not labeled as a watery toner-like texture. The only drawback is that it can pour out too quickly, which can be startling. Sometimes I apply it with my palms, but using it with a cotton pad works great as a compress too. If your skin is prone to irritation, this product might help soothe it. By the way, I've been using it for years.
