The biggest plus is its incredibly reasonable price. With its generous size, you can enjoy using it for a long time. However, I wasn't thrilled with the color, and the texture felt quite rich on my skin. - jy********Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessMay 3, 2025
It really seems like a safe, reliable choice! The complexion appears to have been enhanced beautifully. I've used it for several months, even going through a refill, and honestly, it just feels like an average product. There was a slight feeling of heaviness, and the coverage was just so-so. As time passed, I noticed some darkening. I used it up since I had already purchased it, but I won't be buying it again! Using a spatula seems to help the product last longer on the skin. - ce******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresMay 2, 2025
The coverage is truly the best I've experienced among all the cushion foundations I've tried. It's so good you might not even need a concealer! It's extremely, extremely matte... Highly recommended for very oily skin, but absolutely not for dry skin. Even with my combination skin, I found it way too matte... - bi*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
Before I dive into the product details, let me give you some context about my skin. I have extremely blemish-prone skin with severe acne marks, an oily complexion around shade 25, and a bit of deep dryness. I stumbled upon this cushion at Olive Young and decided to give it a try. Now, for the positives: The coverage is absolutely fantastic, and being a matte cushion, it adheres to the skin beautifully. The staying power is impressive! Personally, it was a tad light for me, so I'd recommend this for those with complexions around shades 22-23. To cut to the chase, it wasn't quite perfect for me. While I absolutely loved the coverage, my skin tends to have some dead skin cells, and this cushion seemed to accentuate them a bit. I used this in autumn, and if I didn't prep my skin properly with skincare, it had a slight tendency to separate. I'd recommend using skincare that helps with exfoliation before applying this cushion. It's best to apply it when your skin is slightly hydrated. Everyone's experience may vary, but personally, I noticed it emphasized dead skin cells and had some separation issues. Therefore, I'd suggest this for those with oily skin types, especially during spring or summer. It might work better in those seasons! - mi*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 19, 2025
I've used both the original product and its refill. The coverage is excellent, effectively concealing pores. It applies smoothly without emphasizing dead skin cells. Unless you have very dry skin, this product is suitable for everyone. If your face is naturally dry, it may accentuate dryness or highlight dead skin cells, so a hydrating moisturizer is essential to use beforehand. - ji********Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 25, 2025
The coverage is average. The adherence to the skin is also fairly standard. I'm not sure if it's because I have dry skin, but even after finishing my skincare routine and patting it in, it felt too drying. It might be suitable for use during the summer months. - ps******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 21, 2025
Not bad for my first cushion foundation. The adherence seems pretty good, and the shade is slightly darker than other #21 shades I've tried. The coverage wasn't great, but that might be because I applied it thinly. As someone with dry skin, I found it too drying. Also, it was disappointing to see how quickly it darkened on my skin over time. - le***********Oily SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 18, 2025
Coverage: 3.6 out of 5 points Adherence: So-so Lasting power: Good Even those with slightly lighter skin tones suitable for shade 21 could use this It's quite matte and tends to emphasize texture and dead skin cells It works better when applied after thorough hydrating skincare - 2t********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessJan 6, 2025
The color of this is really strange and dark. Why on earth is the 'Cool Petal' shade like this? Seriously...???? It looks even worse in person. Every time I use this, I get blemishes, it pills easily, and overall it's just not good. - 2p******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2024
I've heard many people say their skin cleared up after using this! It doesn't make your skin feel tight in winter, but it's not oily either, so it's perfect for oily skin too! There's really no downside to this cushion! If you're on the fence, just go for it - you won't regret it! It's not thick The pointed tip of the puff makes it easy to apply (I bought extra puffs separately) Doesn't irritate the skin and feels comfortable Considering it comes with a refill, it's not that expensive The matte gray packaging is so pretty It fades beautifully without caking! When a bit of oil comes through, it looks like a dewy glow! Even after a long time, it doesn't turn dull and still looks good (even works great when drinking!) The case gets dirty easily... The gray color shows marks easily The coverage isn't great... but it's okay if you use it well with concealer If you have oily skin, just use foundation in summer... It does fade prettily, but it still fades... In winter, if you start by applying a thin layer of moisturizing sunscreen, your skin will feel super comfortable
