There are some small particles, but they don't feel too harsh. I wonder if it's exfoliating well, and sure enough, after cleansing, my skin feels squeaky clean!
ConsI think those with dry skin might feel even drier after using this, so I'd recommend it more for people with oily or acne-prone skin!

It's not irritating and gives a cool sensation. You don't feel any granules scraping, and it applies smoothly. It rinses off easily.
ConsThe product runs out quickly. Moreover, it's in a twist-up format, but there's not much product to begin with. Towards the end, you can't even use what's left inside no matter how much you twist. You have to scoop it out with your fingers. This is the deal-breaker for repurchasing. If this issue is fixed, I'd buy it again. Otherwise, I'll just stick to water-based formulas.

While chemical removal of sebum (blackheads) is important, it's hard to completely avoid physical exfoliation, right? The scrub beads ensure that aspect isn't overlooked!
ConsIt may not dramatically remove blackheads, but with consistent use, it seems like it will provide gentle pore care without irritation.
TipI've found it works well to use this pore stick once or twice a week after showering when sebum is softened, or after (regrettably) squeezing pores. After minimizing pores with the stick, applying oils like squalane or jojoba, which are similar to sebum, helps prevent new sebum from filling the emptied pores.

My skin feels squeaky clean after use. The tiny granules inside provide a nice scrubbing action that feels refreshing. I think you need to use it consistently to see the best results.
ConsIt runs out too quickly. Sometimes the scrub can be a bit irritating. I'm not sure how effective it is on blackheads.

It's a product that works as a scrub and clay mask - you can massage it in and leave it to dry for a bit. ✔️Scent It has a refreshing mint fragrance, which I really enjoyed. Since it's used around the nose area, the scent is important, and I'm quite pleased with it. ✔️Feel on skin Due to the particles, it's not overly smooth, but it helps refine skin texture just right. I didn't experience any tingling or irritation, and it didn't cause any blemishes. ✔️Effectiveness I usually apply it by gently rubbing the stick on my face, then shower or brush my teeth, followed by a final massage with my fingers before rinsing. While it doesn't completely extract deep-seated sebum, it does clear out surface oils. You can see how smooth your skin becomes afterwards. I prefer to stop here to avoid stronger exfoliation, but if you use the product, you can see the sebum coming to the surface. At this point, applying a bit more pressure to wipe or squeeze could potentially result in even cleaner skin.
ConsThe soft texture makes me think it might run out quickly. I wish it came in a larger size.

It's like a very fine-grained clay mask. After cleansing, apply it to areas with blemishes. Make sure to dampen it well with water. Inside, there are small particles that might seem harsh, but they're actually less irritating than you'd expect. Of course, that doesn't mean there's no irritation at all. So, roll the stick and apply it evenly around your nose, then gently - very gently - massage with your fingertips. Scent: It has a unique herbal scent, reminiscent of mint. When applied, it gives a cooling sensation that might be a bit intense for some. Sensitive skin types... well, they probably wouldn't use this kind of product anyway. (Just realized this while writing!) Since its function is 'blackhead and dead skin cell removal', some irritation is inevitable. So, the most important question: 'Does it work?' To cut to the chase, it worked for me. If you look at my photos, you'll notice a difference between the first day and today's fresh picture. (I initially took photos in the bathroom, but then realized I needed the same location, position, and lighting for an accurate comparison, so I retook them in my room. How meticulous of me!) Those blackheads on my nose were really stubborn, initially as noticeable as freckles. I had been diligently using an oil cleanser morning and night (while praying fervently), and it took finishing an entire bottle to see slight improvement. This product achieved similar results in about a week! I hadn't noticed day-to-day, but comparing photos from the first day, I can see they've faded. *My apologies for the unsightly close-ups, please view from a distance! The last shot shows the improvement after about a week of use, including the particles I mentioned.
ConsAreas for improvement: 1. I wish the product instructions were more detailed. Apart from mentioning to use it on damp skin after cleansing, there's no other information on the packaging. Given its potential for irritation, it would be helpful to include how often to use it per week and any precautions. 2. The cap is inconvenient. As the clay stick shrinks, air fills the space, making it difficult to close the inner cap properly. This also affects the outer lid. While the outer lid closes with a satisfying magnetic click, we can't enjoy this feature due to the inner cap issue.
TipTips? Nothing groundbreaking, but: 1. Make sure your skin is sufficiently damp and gently - very gently - massage the blemishes with your fingertips. 2. I used it daily for a week without irritation. If you don't experience any sensitivity, you can use it consistently until you see results. While it won't make blemishes disappear in just a few days, you should notice significant improvement after a week, two weeks, or a month of regular use.

The product has a texture like a solidified mud pack with small granules. I applied it by rolling the stick on my face after dampening it with lukewarm water. While I didn't see a dramatic reduction in blackheads in just two weeks as the name suggests, I did notice improvements in dead skin cell reduction, blackhead reduction, and overall skin texture. Particularly for blackheads, I found it more effective to use this product consistently after using an oil or pore-dissolving nose pack to remove blackheads initially. This approach showed better results and longer-lasting effects compared to using the stick alone in the first week. Despite its exfoliating properties, it didn't cause much irritation apart from the physical sensation of the granules. I've been using it consistently all over my face where I'm concerned about dead skin cells and sebum, and I've noticed my makeup doesn't look as patchy anymore!
ConsThe product didn't dramatically remove blackheads or soften sebum as I had hoped. It seems like finding the most effective way to use it will take some time and continued use. Initially, the soft texture makes it feel like it's melting away too quickly, but once you reach the part where more granules come out, it becomes easier to use.
TipI apply the stick after showering when my skin is still a bit soft, then continue with the rest of my shower routine. This combination of warm water and the active stick helps soften the sebum, and wiping it off with a cotton swab or pad feels really satisfying. With consistent use, I think it could help prevent blackheads and dead skin buildup, and improve overall skin texture.

It's not that there was no effect at all, but there seems to be a very subtle change that only I could notice. The scent is similar to a minty Lush face mask. When it comes in contact with water, it definitely transforms into a smooth, slippery texture, so applying it doesn't cause much irritation. However, since my skin tends to redden even with slight granular stimulation, I didn't rub the stick too vigorously.
ConsIt seems there's no perfect exfoliator out there. The list of drawbacks could go on and on. But considering its ingredients, I think this product is not disappointing. I don't think there's any product that can completely remove blackheads. Pores and sebum are something we're born with.

It's much easier to manage than jar-type exfoliators, which can easily get water in them after washing your face. It contains tiny granules that help with exfoliation. At first, I thought the black specks were my sebum coming out! That's how small they are, so they don't irritate the skin much. After use, I noticed a cool, minty scent that wasn't overwhelming at all. The product didn't irritate my skin, and I immediately felt the bumpy areas around my nose becoming smoother. I was initially cautious and only used it on my nose, but when I tried it on my cheeks (which were having a dead skin cells party), it didn't cause any excessive dryness or blemishes. While it doesn't magically remove blackheads from my nose, it definitely smooths the surface and seems effective on whiteheads too.
ConsThe stick doesn't come out easily. It would be great if they offered a larger size option!
TipEven though it's gentle, I wouldn't use it daily. It's probably best to use it about twice a week, leaving it on while showering.

This product seems much gentler compared to other exfoliating or blackhead-removing products. That's why I think I was able to use it without any blemishes on my sensitive skin. It contains small particles that make dead skin cell removal a bit easier. If it only contained the balm, it might only affect blackheads without removing dead skin cells. But with these particle-like ingredients, I think it's more effective for exfoliation.
ConsI'm writing this review as part of The Hwahae Testers, but honestly, I feel like I haven't been using it long enough to notice significant changes. While other reviews are full of praise, I was hoping for more dramatic results, so I'm not entirely satisfied. I'll use it a bit longer and leave a more detailed review later. It has a strong scent that reminds me of a mild toothpaste, which I personally dislike. That was a bit of a turn-off for me. I always want dramatic effects, but due to my sensitive skin, I can't use products with harsh ingredients. While this product is certainly gentle, I didn't feel like it was particularly effective at dissolving blackheads. Maybe my blackheads are just too stubborn! In conclusion, its gentleness is its biggest advantage, but don't expect major results. It has a strong scent and contains particles. I'll use up what I have, but I probably won't repurchase.
TipIt's not that blackheads don't disappear at all. Using this after a shower does help open up the pores a bit more. If I use this product to open my pores and then follow up with a nose pack, I get the dramatic results I'm looking for.
