Quantity: Surprisingly generous amount! You can keep applying it liberally. Cooling effect: It has a refreshing minty sensation that feels wonderfully cool on the skin. Daily use: While not necessarily for everyday use, it's great for frequent incorporation into your skincare routine.
ConsScent: The overpowering mint fragrance lingers on the skin long after application. If you're not a fan of strong, cooling sensations, this product is definitely not recommended. Sensation: As mentioned, the intense cooling effect persists even after completing your skincare routine. Formulation: Despite only being applied to damp skin, the stick tends to crumble, leaving excess product around the edges. It's a waste to throw away, but these softened, diluted bits are less effective to use.
TipApply it right after washing your face while the skin is still damp, then rinse off!

My pores are somewhat visible, and I tend to get a lot of whiteheads between my eyebrows and on my nose, likely due to the oily T-zone. I also occasionally see a few blackheads here and there. Because of the whiteheads, I always do a double cleanse when removing makeup - first with an oil cleanser, then with a gentle low pH foam cleanser. Even after that, I use pore pads to remove any remaining whiteheads. 1. While I haven't tried many products, I've used similar stick-type products for dead skin cells, pores, and sebum before. Usually, they have a gritty texture that you can really feel when you rub them on your skin. This product, however, is surprisingly creamy, which I found to be a great advantage! It seemed to remove sebum without causing much irritation, which I was very satisfied with. 2. Another plus is the cap, which makes it very hygienic to use. Unlike previous products where I'd close the lid while it was still wet, the cap on this one seems to help the formula solidify faster after contact with water, which I really appreciate. 3. Thanks to its creamy texture, it didn't cause any irritation. While my cheeks aren't particularly sensitive to skincare products, they do tend to get red when I use rough pads or cotton. I didn't experience any of that with this product. 4. It has an immediate effect on dead skin cells, leaving my skin feeling smooth right after use. However, since I have combination dehydrated skin, I do feel some dryness after cleansing. If you have dry skin, I'd recommend following up with a good moisturizer after using this product.
Cons1. This might be a matter of personal preference, but it was a bit of a downside for me. The menthol, peppermint scent is extremely strong. While some people might love it, I found it too intense. It made my whole face feel tingly, and it took some getting used to. I think I would have preferred if it were unscented or if the scent was a bit milder. 2. It didn't provide immediate results in removing whiteheads. While blackheads require a bit more effort to extract, whiteheads usually come out easily with just a bit of rubbing with a pad. With previous products that had a grittier texture, the whiteheads would become invisible to the naked eye right after rubbing and wiping with a towel. However, this product, probably due to its creamy texture, didn't have that immediate effect. Instead, with consistent and gentle use, I noticed that fewer whiteheads appeared over time. If you're looking for instant results, this product might not be for you.
TipConsistent and gentle use seems to yield the best results. For areas where your skin is sensitive to friction, I recommend using it less frequently rather than daily. Taking breaks between applications can be beneficial. It's worth noting that opinions on this product may vary widely, so I really had to think hard about whether to recommend it. In the end, I felt the advantages slightly outweighed the disadvantages, which is why I checked the 'recommend' box.
