  Pros

  I bought this because I was concerned about blackheads and whiteheads on my nose and chin. After using it and rinsing with water, my skin felt soft and smooth, like baby skin. I kept using it thinking it was working wonders.

  Cons

  To be honest, it had no effect at all. It actually irritated my skin and I got acne on my nose for the first time ever. It damaged my skin barrier and left my skin feeling incredibly tight, which was shocking. It's costing me more money and time to restore my skin back to normal.

  Tip

  Unfortunately, continuous use led to a compromised skin barrier.

  Pros

  The stick format makes it so convenient to use! Liquid types can be a hassle since you need to apply them with cotton pads, but this product addresses that issue nicely. As someone with super sensitive skin, I was worried about potential blemishes, but using it 2-3 times a week hasn't been irritating at all - it's great! While it doesn't show instant results like pore strips, consistent use has definitely reduced my blackheads. The inner cap is a nice hygienic touch too!

  Cons

  I used it two days in a row at first and experienced some minor blemishes. The most critical drawback... it's not dramatic enough to justify purchasing. I feel like cleansing oil works better at removing blackheads.

  Pros

  Skin type: Oily, Sensitive, Blemish-prone After using it, you can definitely feel that your nose becomes smoother! While there are no blackheads, only whiteheads, it may not dramatically clean your skin, but when you touch it, it feels soft and velvety.

  Cons

  This is like a very hard diatomaceous earth stick? The granules are firmly embedded in the stick, so if you rub it directly, it hurts. There's the inconvenience of having to melt it a bit before use. Also, when I used it on a day my skin was super sensitive, I got a pimple the next day... Here, a sensitive day means when my oil and moisture balance is off.

  Tip

  You can use it with less irritation by wetting your hands with warm water and melting the stick before applying! But the stick is meant to be used conveniently, and this makes the process more cumbersome... If it's the same sebum-softening ingredient anyway, I think I'd prefer the less irritating Illso nose pack. Recommended for: Non-sensitive skin! Those who want to easily rub it on! Not recommended for: Sensitive skin (especially thin skin types that are vulnerable to physical irritation)

  - Scent & Texture It has the same fragrance as Lush's Magnaminty, and it applies smoothly when your face is wet, with small granules that come out as you use it. - Effectiveness True to its sebum-softening claims, when you rub it after use, you can feel the sebum coming off! However, it didn't feel like an excessive amount of sebum was being removed during use. - Convenience The stick format is really handy, and you can use it in the short time it takes to brush your teeth, which I found very convenient.

  Cons

  - Irritation It feels like both physical and chemical exfoliation, so my face became quite red after use. I used it every other day, but I think I need to space out the usage even more.

  Pros

  I usually manage my blackheads with a cleansing balm, but compared to that, this product makes blackheads disappear much more easily, which I love. Also, the stick has a pleasant scent, and after use, there's a refreshing feeling left on the skin, which I personally find delightful.

  Cons

  Since it contains ingredients that aren't great for sensitive skin, I used it cautiously. However, after using it for several days in a row, I definitely noticed blemishes appearing. I thought using it for about 4 consecutive days might keep blackheads at bay for a while, but as soon as I stopped using it, they came right back. It's disappointing that it irritates my skin while removing blackheads, yet the effects don't even last long.

  Tip

  I think I'll stick to using my cleansing balm for blackhead management as I've always done. Although it's a bit more of a hassle, at least the cleansing balm doesn't cause blemishes when used continuously.

  Pros

  I applied it mainly around my eyes where I had uneven texture and on my cheeks where pores had appeared. The bumpy texture smoothed out!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, using the physical rolling motion seemed to irritate my skin, causing blemishes. I didn't notice much effect on sebum control.

  Pros

  Before using this, I tried another blackhead balm that didn't work for me. But this one really surprised me! It completely removed all those little bumps of sebum, leaving my skin smooth. I used it every other day, and I've seen a significant difference. The scent is kind of minty, like toothpaste? Anyway, it's a cool, refreshing fragrance, and it feels cool when applied.

  Cons

  When I first used it right after popping a pimple, that area stung and hurt so much... It also has a toothpaste-like scent, and while it feels cool when first applied, I found it hard to get used to at first. It made my eyes sting a bit and felt quite irritating. I'm not sure if it did anything for my pores.

  Tip

  I apply it thoroughly on my nose, forehead, and chin, then massage it in with my hands. Using the black granules to massage feels cool and nice! Also, you won't see dramatic effects from just one use, so I recommend using it regularly. I used it every other day.

  Pros

  This convenient blackhead stick can be used by soaking a cotton pad, or simply applied directly and rinsed off without any need for peeling! It's so easy to use! I found it really handy that you can apply the stick to those stubborn, hardened sebum areas and gently roll it to remove them. I mainly used it on my nose area, and I was pleased to see that not only did it tackle blackheads, but it also improved the texture of my skin! What I really appreciated was that instead of using artificial scrub particles, it's made with real tea tree leaves, which made me feel more confident about using it.

  Cons

  While I was satisfied using it on my T-zone and nose area, when I applied it all over my face, I felt it was too harsh on my forehead and chin. It felt quite irritating in those areas.

  Tip

  I think it might be best to use this product locally, just on the areas where you're concerned about blackheads!

  Pros

  I had this in my cart and finally got the chance to try it as soon as I received it! The texture is softer than expected, causing no irritation. It feels more like a mask than a scrub! The scent isn't overpowering, which is great. In terms of how it feels, I usually use a sebum remover, but this is less irritating. While it doesn't give the sensation of removing sebum, it seems to gently dissolve it. My skin texture improves and feels smoother.

  Cons

  I've been taking good care of my skin lately and hardly getting any blemishes, but coincidentally or not, the day after using this, I got small breakouts all over. Also, considering the price, it runs out quite quickly.

  The stick format makes it super convenient. Unlike peeling gels or masks, you can apply it when your skin is still damp, which is the most convenient part. It's surprisingly cumbersome to remove all moisture after washing your face before applying a product, but this doesn't require that, so it's really handy. You can even use it right after washing your face in the shower, which is so convenient!

  Cons

  Since I have super sensitive skin, I found the little black granules sometimes felt a bit irritating. It actually caused some blemishes to appear...!! Right after use, I could feel the oil being stripped away to the point where my skin felt quite tight. I'm not sure if it effectively removed dead skin cells or sebum. Those who dislike the feeling of tightness should keep this in mind before purchasing! I'm also not sure about the hygiene aspect of the stick directly touching the face...

  Tip

  During your shower, it's good to open up your pores with lukewarm or slightly warm water before rolling the stick on your face. Since it has granules, don't scrub hard - be gentle. The formula is on the softer side, so don't twist up too much of the stick. Just a little bit is enough for each use.
