I bought an alkaline-based product for skin care, as it is said to be better for oily skin than slightly acidic products. 
My boyfriend, who has oily skin, likes it and uses it every night after showering, and his pores have become much cleaner compared to when he doesn't use it.
I also use it occasionally, and after using it, my skin definitely feels smoother and my excess oil and surface sebum are effectively removed.
It also seems to remove sunscreen well. I plan to repurchase this product in the future.
