  Skin type: Sensitive combination dehydrated skin Since slightly acidic products don't suit my skin well, I decided to try this mildly alkaline cleansing foam. It lathers up nicely even with a small amount. The light pink formula contains small particles, but they weren't particularly irritating. I also appreciated that the semi-transparent container allows you to see how much product is left.

  Cons

  It goes beyond a squeaky clean feeling to downright drying. It's not that my face feels clean - it just feels tight after washing. While cleansing doesn't need to remove all dead skin cells, there's a basic level of cleansing effectiveness you expect, and this falls short while leaving my face parched and taut. I switched to a different cleanser before finishing this one.

  There's not much to complain about, honestly. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it might sting a bit on cuts or irritated skin. But that's probably just a sign of its strong cleansing power.

  Tip

  Just work up a lather in your hands, don't massage it on your face for too long, and rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water at least 15 times. The rinsing part is crucial.

  I switched to this product after using Medipeel Collagen Foam, which didn't lather well. This one creates a rich, creamy foam and contains both AHA and BHA, which worked wonders for my congested skin. It's rare to find an alkaline foam with both AHA and BHA, so I hope it stays on the market for a long time! The cleansing effectiveness is excellent. It removes sebum better than Medipeel, making it perfect from now through summer. I'm planning to alternate between this, B.plain Pink Salt, and Medipeel Collagen Foam seasonally for my cleansing routine.

  Since it's quite effective at removing sebum, it might feel a bit drying during the coldest winter months.
