As someone with warm undertones, I love how this product gives me a natural, healthy glow! It's my first time trying a liquid formula, and I'm impressed by how it creates that coveted Inner Glow effect while keeping my skin hydrated! Be careful not to apply too much at once, as it can cause your base makeup to lift. Even with gentle application, it seems to inevitably make the foundation underneath peel off. I found a way to minimize base makeup lifting: use a tiny amount of product and gently pat it in with a finger puff, using the lightest touch possible. This technique helps prevent the foundation from peeling off. - di****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedDec 8, 2024
As someone with a light undertone (13-15), I'm more affected by high brightness and low saturation than warm/cool tones. With my rosy complexion, I prefer pink-based products, but high-saturation pink or orange blushes don't work for me. I tried the #02 Pig Fog shade (cushion compact set): Pros and overall impression: 1. I've always wanted to try this liquid blush. The 16ml size seemed daunting, but I couldn't resist the December Olive Young sale cushion compact set. 2. It's so convenient to use now, but the first few days were tricky. 3. I experimented with various application methods - pumping onto my hand, using a wedge puff - but the cushion compact and puff work best for controlling the amount. 4. Without the cushion compact, this might have become a forgotten product. How did others use it? Am I just clumsy? 5. Nudes Brand team, please make the cushion compact a permanent offering! It could double your sales! 6. I love the Pig Fog shade. It's unique among my many blushes, and despite being tricky to control, I reach for it most often. 7. It suits my personal color better than the Taupe Mousse shade I bought with it. If you have muted coloring, you might prefer Pig Fog. 8. Once I got used to the right amount and intensity, the cushion puff application gives great color payoff and staying power. Applying directly from the pump is much trickier to control. Cons: 1. There's a learning curve for application. Too little won't show up, too much affects your base makeup. It took me about 3 days to get it right. 2. The pump dispenser can be frustrating to use directly - it's easy to dispense too much product. Please, please make the cushion compact a permanent offering! Cons: 1. There's a definite learning curve for application. Too little won't show, too much disrupts your base makeup. 2. The large volume means I won't buy other shades unless they sell the cushion compact separately. 3. Using the pump dispenser directly is frustratingly difficult to control. It's easy to dispense too much, causing stress and potentially wasting product. 4. They really need to make the cushion compact a permanent offering! - to***Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 22, 2024
First off, I love that it comes with a pump. When initially applied, it has a milky white base with a hint of indie pink, like soy milk with a pinch of blush. After about 1-2 minutes of drying, the pink intensity increases slightly. Since it's based on skin tone, I find it looks natural even when applied quite generously. It doesn't really add much glow, which I appreciate as someone who's a bit wary of too much shine. While it's not completely matte, it definitely doesn't enhance luminosity. It sets quickly, so you need to blend it well to avoid patchiness. I use shade 21, but I suspect it might not show up well on darker skin tones, even when used as a blush. As it's marketed as a skincare-makeup hybrid, I didn't experience any major discomfort when applying it to my face. It looks beautiful when used as a base under the eyes and paired with other point colors. - st********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 18, 2024
The color is absolutely gorgeous for muted skin tones, and it's so easy to apply. The liquid formula allows for that coveted Inner Glow makeup look. When you layer a glowy stick product on top, it's simply stunning! While it has a pump dispenser, it's a bit tricky to control the amount at first. Applying with a puff doesn't work well as it absorbs too much product, so using your fingers seems to be the most convenient method. - x5********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 6, 2024
The shade is perfect for cool-toned muted skin that tends to look ashy. It's wonderfully moisturizing too! It comes off quite easily, but on the bright side, that makes touch-ups a breeze. I find it looks best when applied with fingers. Using a puff seems to absorb too much product. - ki********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 1, 2024
Longevity: Exceptional - It's really good... I'm impressed! Pigmentation: Outstanding - It's fantastic, but be sure to control the amount you apply Luminosity: Brilliant - It's a crystal-clear blush that applies like water Texture: Excellent - The formula is lightweight and applies in a thin layer! Feel on skin: Phenomenal - It feels so natural, you can hardly tell you're wearing it Value for money: Fair - It feels a tad expensive... I recommend purchasing it during a sale Reviewer's skin tone: Warm-cool neutral with light yellow undertones + clear muted (doesn't suit high saturation, low brightness, or dull shades - bright and deep tones are a no-go) Repurchase intention: Absolutely! - Pig-Pog is truly beautiful, I highly recommend everyone to try it Recommended application tool: Hands - I've tried applying with a puff and liquid brush, but hands add warmth to the product, allowing better absorption and more precise application Recommended for: Light undertones and deep undertones as a main color, cool summer and cool winter tones as a base color! Lately, I've been going foundation-free to give my skin a break. However, I still wanted some color and couldn't go out with a completely bare face. Since purchasing this product, my skin fatigue has reduced significantly, and I've experienced fewer blemishes! I also appreciate that the ingredients focus more on skincare than typical color cosmetics. - ys*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 21, 2024
The color is truly beautiful and it has great staying power. However, I'm not quite sure about the best application technique. It's a bit heavy, making it difficult to carry around. I wish it were just a little smaller. - ig*******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedJul 22, 2024
It's great for naturally enhancing color while maintaining the dewy glow of foundation If the shade doesn't match, it can make you look a bit tanned or flushed Apply multiple layers for best results - mm********Dry SkinRecommendedJun 26, 2024
The case is pretty, the formula is moisturizing, and the color is absolutely gorgeous! The pigmentation is weaker than expected, so you might need to layer it for better color payoff. - bj******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedJun 15, 2024
The muted nude pink is neither too warm nor too cool, making it perfect for effortless application anywhere. When you wear this, you'll definitely achieve that clean girl aesthetic! Although it's a cheek product, it leaves a stain. The expiration date is disappointingly short... Other than that, it's decent. To be honest, I didn't pay much attention to it since I got it at a bargain price anyway.
