It's best to use the spoon (?) that comes with it to scoop it out. I'm on my second jar, and the first one I just used my wet fingers to scoop, which is why it might have gotten a bit musty later on. From the second jar, I've been using the spoon every time.

If a lot of time has passed or it's mixed with a fair amount of water, it can have a slightly musty smell.

It has a nice fragrance and cleanses well. It's moisturizing and doesn't feel tight, so I like it! You can use it in the morning and as a makeup remover at night.

1. My eyes hurt so much...Even though I apply it as far away from my eyes as possible, when I wash it off with water, what was on my forehead comes down and the cleanser inevitably gets near my eyes. At first it stings, then it itches, and even after washing, my eyes are itchy for about two days like conjunctivitis..... Really not recommended......

But the actual cleansing power isn't particularly impressive... It seems to be a bit below average in terms of mild alkalinity.
It's just enough to use as a secondary cleanser.

And I have thick skin and a strong skin barrier (I can handle pretty much any intense product, like retinol or prescription-strength items). When I used it as a mask and then rolled it on and immediately followed with skincare, my skin felt really stingy.

My face was so hot and flushed that I just finished up with a gentle moisturizer, but even gently applying the cream was really uncomfortable. Judging by how much more stinging it caused compared to the Retriderm 300, it seems this product is quite irritating. The ingredients don't look bad, but based on reviews, many people find it stings their eyes, so it does seem to be quite sensitizing.

The scent is pleasant, and using a spoon to scoop it out is hygienic.
It's not mildly acidic, so it has a nice, squeaky-clean feeling.
It actually contains exfoliating ingredients, so it leaves your skin cleaner than a regular mild cleanser.
