I've used the plastic tub version before, and it was a bit of a hassle. Every time I scooped it out with a spoon, it would get on my hands, and I worried about water getting in. The tube format eliminates these issues, which I'm really happy about. However, since it's naturally a thick product, squeezing it out requires quite a bit of... muscle power. I found that kneading the tube gently several times before use makes it a bit easier to dispense. - hy********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedDec 13, 2024
It has the benefits of a mask and provides deep cleansing. My skin has improved since I started using it. It feels a bit thick and heavy on the skin. Also, it's expensive and not as cost-effective as I had hoped. - v6********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 30, 2024
As someone with super sensitive skin, I was pleased that this product didn't cause any tightness or redness after use. I loved how it lathered up nicely when washing my face with water after application. I've already finished one bottle and I'm definitely considering repurchasing. There's a compartment for the spoon inside, but I find it a bit disappointing that the spoon occasionally falls out overnight. - al*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 29, 2024
Leaves skin hydrated without tightness after cleansing Delightful apple scent Rich, soft lather with a bouncy texture The scooping method can be a bit inconvenient - dl*********Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedOct 13, 2024
The scent is lovely and it cleanses effectively. I love how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized without any tightness! It's great for morning use, and also works well as a makeup remover in the evening. (Photo credit: Naver blogger DealJ) If it's left for a long time or gets mixed with too much water, it can develop a slightly musty smell. It's best to use the little spoon (?) that comes with it. I'm on my second jar now. With the first one, I just scooped it out with wet fingers, which might be why it got a bit musty later on. So from the second jar onwards, I always make sure to use the spoon. - ha*********Oily SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 18, 2024
It balances oil and moisture perfectly. This is the most suitable product I've used so far. The value for money isn't great... It doesn't seem worth it. You also need to store it carefully. It's best to use the spoon properly. - rl*********Combination SkinRecommendedJul 27, 2024
It's beautiful, smells great, and excels in cleansing effectiveness and absorption. While using this product, I've noticed a significant reduction in whiteheads - probably thanks to the brush! There's nothing particularly bad, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say the quantity is slightly less compared to other products. For enhanced cleansing effectiveness, use it together with a facial cleansing brush. - dj******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJul 6, 2024
I loved that I could apply it as a mask and then lather it up to rinse off! My skin had a terrible reaction. My eyes stung, and after using it for two days, they became red and swollen. This happened while I was on vacation, unfortunately. - na****Combination SkinSensitive SkinJun 29, 2024
The scent isn't bad... Interesting whipped texture. When I bought it, it came with a hair band for cleansing (not particularly cute, though). 1. It really hurts my eyes... Even when I try to avoid the eye area, the cleanser inevitably gets near my eyes when rinsing. At first, my eyes sting, then they itch, and for about two days after, they feel irritated like conjunctivitis. Strongly discourage using this... 2. It's supposed to be usable as a mask, but I find it too thick. I usually add water, which makes it messy and hard to manage without water getting in. 3. While the scent isn't bad, it's way too strong... Be extremely careful not to get this in your eyes! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsMay 31, 2024
The fragrance is pleasant, and using a spoon to scoop it out is hygienic. Since it's not mildly acidic, it definitely gives a squeaky clean feeling. It actually contains exfoliating ingredients, so it leaves your skin feeling cleaner than a typical low pH cleanser! However, its actual cleansing effectiveness isn't particularly outstanding... It seems to be slightly below average for a mildly alkaline cleanser. It's just sufficient as a second-step cleanser. Also, I have thick skin with a strong barrier (I can handle most irritating products like retinol and prescription-strength treatments), but when I used this as a mask and finished with a rolling motion, then immediately applied skincare, my skin stung terribly. My face felt so hot and irritated that I had to finish with a gentle moisturizer, and even applying that gently was painful. Considering it was more irritating than a 300mg tretinoin cream, I almost had a skin reaction... While the ingredients list doesn't look bad, many reviews mention eye irritation, so it seems to be quite harsh on the skin.
