There's a bit of a white cast initially, but surprisingly, it naturally blends in after a short while. It doesn't sting the eyes and has good ingredients, making it suitable for use with children. For kids, cleansing is often the biggest issue, but this washes off easily, which is great. The small size is perfect for carrying around, and even if that's not a concern, it's a good amount since I always feel uneasy using sunscreen for too long.
ConsPerhaps due to my oily skin, I noticed a slight stickiness and heaviness. For me, it worked better on the body than on the face.
TipIt's best to start with a small amount and layer it gradually rather than applying too much at once.

My child sometimes gets hive-like reactions on days with intense summer sun exposure. Usually, even with sunscreen, their skin gets puffy and itchy, so we can't use just anything. However, this product didn't cause those symptoms, which was great. It feels both gentle and soothing. While there is some white cast, after patting it in well for absorption, it actually gives a natural brightening effect that I like. The seal adds to its trustworthiness, and the cap is convenient for one-handed use.
ConsIt's a shame it's not waterproof, as it washes off when sweating. Also, the finish isn't exactly fresh. While it's not overtly sticky, there's a slight tackiness that's different from just being moisturizing.
TipIt seems best to apply it in small amounts multiple times, allowing it to absorb well, rather than applying a large amount all at once.

I've tried all the highly-rated sunscreens, so I initially thought the stinging would start after a while, but I was pleasantly surprised that my eyes remained comfortable until I washed my face in the evening. I thought it might leave a white cast, so I asked my family how it looked. They said I appeared radiant, as if I'd used a brightening moisturizer, and wondered why I was asking. I guess that's because I don't usually wear makeup. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with Cerave sunscreen - it's a game-changer for sensitive eyes!
ConsOne drawback of this product is that while it washes off easily after wearing it for a long time, if you try to cleanse immediately after application, it feels like you need to double cleanse to remove it completely. However, this isn't really an issue since we don't typically wash off sunscreen right after applying it. There's a slight stickiness immediately after application, but it dissipates over time.
TipAs someone with a darker complexion, I love that this sunscreen evens my skin tone enough that I don't need to use any other products. It's perfect for those like me who don't wear much makeup. Remember, sunscreen is a must for everyone!

The best part is that it's a mineral sunscreen, so there's no eye irritation or tingling sensation. The gentle ingredients make me feel comfortable applying it even on my child's skin.
ConsHowever, being a mineral sunscreen, it works by creating a protective layer on the skin rather than absorbing, which inevitably leads to some stickiness as the key ingredients need to adhere to the skin. While the texture looks thin, it actually feels quite thick when applied and leaves a noticeable white cast.
TipMost mineral sunscreens seem to share similar drawbacks, so if these aspects bother you, you might prefer a chemical sunscreen instead.

Last week at an outdoor water park, despite wearing a hat, their face got quite sunburned. While searching for a sunscreen, I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers. I cautiously tried it out. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it's incredibly smooth and hydrating. And as I mentioned earlier, it didn't cause any blemishes on my 11-year-old fourth-grader's sensitive skin. Thanks to this, their skin also tanned less. I'm planning to stick with CeraVe for my kids' sunscreen. In the photo, the right side of the back of my hand shows how it looks right after application. There's a slight white cast with a glow.
ConsCons: In my opinion, while it applies smoothly and feels hydrating despite being a mineral sunscreen, it might be a bit heavy for summer use. I really dislike anything sticky. When the cool winds start blowing, I plan to settle on this product for winter and spring use.
TipTip: It's said that you must double cleanse after using sunscreen. I usually don't like cleansing wipes. They say you should pat the sunscreen on gently to avoid breaking down the UV-protective ingredients. So, pat it on carefully to protect your skin from UV rays.

I didn't feel any heaviness on my skin! The fragrance-free formula makes it suitable for those with sensitive noses. There's a slight white cast, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking for brightening effects! The texture isn't too thick - it's more of a watery consistency, making it feel light on the skin. The cream doesn't sit on top but absorbs well and quickly. It deeply hydrates, keeping your skin moisturized without feeling dry.
ConsI was disappointed that it felt sticky after application. I wouldn't recommend this to those looking for a fresh finish!
TipIt's great as a makeup base since it doesn't cause pilling when applied before makeup, making it ideal to use as an emulsion.

Its small size makes it perfect for carrying during vacations. I took it to the swimming pool and splash pad areas for my 19-month-old baby. It's great for sensitive and delicate baby skin as it's made with non-nano zinc oxide, a physical sunscreen, rather than chemical filters that might cause blemishes. Free from minerals, silicone oils, and 10 harmful ingredients, it also received an Excellent rating in the German derma test, so I felt confident applying it. Dermatologists recommend double cleansing to remove sunscreen, which isn't easy with babies. However, this product has passed a test for easy removal of UV filters, making bath time less stressful. A dermatologist suggested using SPF50~60 and PA++++ in our country, and this product seems perfect for our current weather conditions. (They advised buying local sunscreens when visiting places like Guam or Hawaii, as they're better suited for those environments.)
ConsIt's fragrance-free, but the thick texture makes it a bit challenging to apply on the baby's face and body. It's slightly sticky and feels rich on the skin.
TipA dermatologist shared a tip: apply sunscreen, let it absorb, then reapply after 10 minutes. This enhances its longevity and improves UV protection.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the product. Should I say the sunscreen is gentle? I have sensitive skin and am particular about scents, but I found this easy to use and was pleased. I'd definitely repurchase when I run out. The first thing I did was smell it - it's almost unscented, which worked well for me as I'm sensitive to fragrances. The sunscreen has a slightly thick cream texture, not a watery emulsion. It initially appears white when applied, but quickly absorbs into the skin. What I appreciated most is that it doesn't irritate my eyes. I often hesitate to apply sunscreen because it usually makes my eyes sting after a while (I often go without makeup due to my sensitive eyes). But with the Cera Vera sunscreen, my eyes don't feel tired, so I found myself reapplying throughout the day. Another plus is that it doesn't cause blemishes. I have acne-prone skin and usually worry about breakouts when trying new products. However, even after a week of consistent use, I didn't experience any blemishes! I switched directly from my previous sunscreen, and no pimples appeared. It was such a relief (those with acne-prone skin will understand). As an expectant mother, I was reassured to read that it's safe for use on children too. Lastly, while I received this product through a giveaway event, I used it seriously for a week to find both pros and cons. However, I didn't notice any significant drawbacks. In fact, I'm glad to have discovered such a good product and plan to purchase it with my own money next time!
ConsPersonally, I dislike sticky textures, and this had a slight stickiness and shininess to it.

It's great that both pregnant women and babies can use it safely. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, it's not drying and doesn't sting my eyes. The white cast is both a pro and a con, but when I'm not wearing makeup, it's nice that just applying this sunscreen gives me a brightening effect.
ConsIt's an emulsion formula, but it applies a bit thick, so you need to pat it in while spreading. While I like that it's not drying, it feels sticky in summer, so I only use it when I'm not wearing makeup.
TipTo reduce stickiness, try applying a thin layer first, then gently blot excess oil with blotting paper before applying a second layer.
