It felt moisturizing and gentle, so I applied multiple layers.
ConsI think the hydrogenated lecithin and gluconolactone didn't agree with my skin. There weren't any other ingredients that should have caused side effects, but... When I was about halfway through using it, my face started to become red and itchy, so I had to stop using it.

It's a perfectly balanced toner that's neither drying nor oily. The fragrance-free formula makes it pleasant to apply without any aversion. Its texture is suitable for use throughout all seasons, so if the ingredients agree with your skin, it could become a staple in your routine.
ConsDespite the positive reviews, it didn't suit my skin. I kept developing small blemishes, so I had to stop using it. Also, I was disappointed to find it contains exfoliating ingredients.

ConsWhen I apply it, my skin feels even drier, and I've developed a couple of blemishes. I wonder if the citric acid doesn't agree with me...
TipThe texture is surprisingly watery. It's easy to pat onto the face after dispensing it into your hand

ConsI had to stop using it because it didn't agree with my skin and caused three hard blemishes to appear. At first, I thought it might be due to my menstrual cycle, but seeing them continue to pop up, it seems to be the product's effect. Other family members are using it without issues, so I'd recommend trying a similar sheet mask first. If it works well for you, then consider buying this toner.

However, when applying it to my face, it definitely feels more substantial than other toners! That being said, it's not greasy or lingering on the skin, just more hydrating than regular toners. I'm satisfied and using it well!
ConsThey included a sheet mask to try it as a face mask, so I used it with the spray. However, when it touched the eye area, it stung a bit. This happened even though I closed my eyes tightly while spraying. Interestingly, when I pat it in with my hands, there's no stinging at all, but when I use the provided spray to mist it on, it causes a slight tingling sensation.

I should probably write this in the 'Cons' section, but since I couldn't use this product satisfactorily, I'll just talk about how I used it and what few positives I found. I usually use a hyaluronic acid toner, but I received this product as part of The Hwahae Testers program. I switched only the toner in my skincare routine and used it for a week. I felt my skin getting worse, so I couldn't use it for more than a week. Here's my nighttime routine: 1. Apply acne medication (Clindamycin prescribed by my dermatologist). 2. Apply toner. The first two days, I tried using it with the provided sheet mask, but my skin became red and sensitive, so I stopped. After that, I used it as a hydrating toner. I have sensitive skin, so I don't usually use astringent toners. 3. Use 10% Niacinamide (I've been using this for about 6 months and didn't experience irritation until using this toner). 4. Vitamin C derivative serum (It's a gentle, non-irritating product with a pH of about 5). 5. Modeling mask (I have hot skin, so this helps cool and calm it). 6. Re-apply toner and finish with a cica cream (My skin feels a bit dry after the modeling mask, so I reapply toner and finish with a cica cream). As for the few positives, I'd say the texture is nice. It has a water-like consistency but isn't completely liquid, so you can feel the hydration. And it's fragrance-free. If it doesn't cause blemishes, it might not be a bad product. I think the moisturizing power would be suitable for oily or combination dehydrated skin with a tendency towards oiliness.
ConsFirst of all, I developed blemishes and my face became extremely red... I already had some redness, but it got much worse. Especially when used with the 10% Niacinamide product, it felt like they seriously clashed - my skin felt like it was burning. It stung so badly, but I thought maybe my skin was just extra sensitive that day and endured it. However, the next day, my skin was in terrible condition. I've received many compliments on how clear my skin has become since using the Niacinamide product, so I couldn't give it up. Therefore, I had to give up on this toner. I guess it was my mistake to assume it would work for me just because others said the ingredients were gentle and non-irritating. It might be because I'm new to PHA ingredients, or maybe I'm allergic to one of the many plant extracts in it. I use Centella Asiatica often, so I don't think it's that... I recommend researching thoroughly before buying. As for hydration... even with the blemishes, I thought the hydration would be okay, but it's much worse than my usual hyaluronic acid toner. I don't need to name the other toner. Not only compared to the hyaluronic acid toner, but also compared to a very watery toner I used before, I experienced more deep dryness with this one. I only applied sunscreen, and it was even a rainy day! Feeling deep dryness in these conditions was surprising. As I mentioned earlier, this product might be more suitable for those with oilier skin. I wouldn't recommend it for combination dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness like mine. Even setting aside the blemishes, this product feels unnecessary. There are many good products out there (I love my hyaluronic acid toner!), and this one isn't particularly cheap, so I wonder if there's really a need for it... I have to recommend against it since it caused blemishes. I feel bad since I received it for free as part of The Hwahae Testers program. I'm sorry.
TipIf you have sensitive skin, I'd advise against using it with the sheet mask they provide... it seems to intensify the irritation. Let's just buy our own sheet masks...

They included cotton pads, a sheet mask, and even an empty bottle, making it easy to understand how to use everything effectively. Texture: It's quite fluid, but has a slight stickiness that prevents it from drying out quickly. Scent: In my opinion, it's completely fragrance-free. I really love their slogan about not causing harm to animals. It's an unavoidable dilemma every time we use cosmetics, so I hope more ethical companies like this continue to grow and develop.
ConsUnfortunately, the morning after using it, I developed some red blemishes and had to stop using it temporarily. It was fine for a week, but then my skin suddenly reacted. I'll need to wait for my skin to recover before I can write an objective review, but I'm disappointed that the blemishes haven't cleared up yet. On the first day, I decanted some into the empty bottle and used it as a mist, spraying it all over my face. This resulted in small, red, pimple-like blemishes appearing everywhere. I think there might be an ingredient that's too harsh for sensitive skin, and I may have applied too much, irritating my skin. I'm not sure if it's just not suitable for sensitive skin or if it's due to hormonal changes. There wasn't any noticeable irritation when applying, so the product might not be the cause. I'll need to use it a bit more to be certain.

It was great to be able to test the product in various ways - as a toner, essence, mask, and mist. The texture is a light essence type with a mild viscosity (I felt it was closer to a watery toner). Among the 4 methods, using it as a mist was the most effective. After applying sunscreen, my skin felt very dry, but spraying this mist quickly reduced the dryness. The cotton pads are thin yet don't tear, and they don't leave any lint behind - they glide smoothly on the skin. After using this as an exfoliating toner, my skin feels incredibly soft to the touch.
ConsIt can be quite drying. Even after using it twice as an essence following the exfoliating toner step, my skin still felt dry, so I had to quickly apply an emulsion cream. When I used this toner as a base and then applied sunscreen on top, it felt significantly more drying compared to my usual toner. On the day I used it as a mist over sunscreen, I had to spray it multiple times, and by the time I cleansed in the evening, my skin had become red and was tingling.
TipWhen using it as a mask, it's better to leave it on for a shorter time compared to store-bought sheet masks.

Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin (especially right after showering when I pat my face dry, it feels tight immediately...) Product texture: The texture reminded me a bit of a runny consistency (like the Anua Heartleaf Toner!) Scent: Just a regular, non-artificial chemical product smell! Application (lightweight!): As someone with oily-ish skin, I usually find layering ampoules or creams a bit heavy, so I tend to apply toner twice, followed by a light ampoule and moisturizer. This toner wasn't heavy at all, and two layers felt just right! I could probably add more, but I found this amount perfect and used it twice daily. Effects (amazing hydration): On the first day, I soaked the provided mask sheet with the toner and left it on while blow-drying my hair. Wow... The next day, a lot of the tiny bumps that had been stubbornly sitting on my forehead were noticeably reduced! The hydration was absolutely incredible! Those little bumps on my forehead had been my constant companions for about 5 years, resistant to everything I tried. Now, they're finally showing signs of disappearing! I also decanted some into the provided mist bottle and sprayed it when my skin felt dry. It significantly reduced the feeling of tightness!
ConsRecently, possibly due to my overall condition, I've noticed small red blemishes that don't usually appear are starting to show up. I'm not sure if it's because the product doesn't suit me or if I'm just not taking good care of myself these days. That's the only downside I can think of!
TipUsing the toner with a mask sheet provided a level of satisfaction that small cotton pads just can't match! So I really recommend everyone try using mask sheets with this toner! They're super cheap at Daiso, so it's definitely worth giving it a shot at least once.
