I get it now... When applied with a light undertone, it gives a healthy flush and looks absolutely gorgeous... There's a mystique that drugstore brands simply can't replicate. You might think it's warm just by looking at the color, but with shimmery blushes, you can't judge by color alone. You need to consider how the pearls reflect light and the hues they create both in and out of direct light. As much as I hate to admit it, the price is justifiable. Compared to Dior's pink, if you can only choose one, I'd recommend spending the extra $10 for Tutu. It's worth every penny and you won't find anything like it in drugstores. While there are similar colors out there, when you look at the overall quality, it's clear they were able to create this because of the higher cost per unit. The brand name allows them to take risks with blushers like this, which adds value. We have to acknowledge that if brands only stuck to low-cost items, we wouldn't see such diverse and innovative products.
ConsFor cool tones, the coral undertone might be more prominent than expected, but the variety of shimmery particles, especially the pink ones, give it a cool-toned feel, which is probably why it's considered a cool-toned blusher. Some might be disappointed that the color leans coral, but it's actually a good thing that it's not overly pink. When the shimmery particles catch the light, it creates a luxurious effect. +The price is quite steep, but when I think about how it sold out and I couldn't get it, I feel like I should scrimp and save just to buy it... yeah...
TipMy first impression was that the color reminded me of Clinique's Cheek Pop. If you couldn't get your hands on Tutu, imagine Cheek Pop with 30% of the pigmentation and minus the shimmery particles. Of course, the color payoff will vary depending on individual skin tones, and this is just how it appears on my cheeks.
