It removes makeup so well and doesn't leave any white cast, which I absolutely love. I'm definitely going to keep using it. The initial scent is quite off-putting... You'll need to power through it if you want to use this product. - wi********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityApr 9, 2025
First, let me explain my skin situation. I used to have normal skin, but after misusing retinol, my melasma worsened, my complexion became sallow, and I developed contact dermatitis as a side effect. I had to get oral medication and steroid ointments from a dermatologist. It's only been two weeks since I recovered, and as a result, my skin became extremely sensitive and dry. Before using this sunscreen, I read all the reviews on Hwahae and saw no major drawbacks, so I bought two. I regret not trying a sample first. The application is excellent, and there's no white cast initially. It spreads easily and absorbs within 1-2 minutes, which is great. After about 30 minutes, my face became a bit shiny, and there was a slight tingling sensation, but it was generally okay. As my face became shiny, I assume the sunscreen was melting due to my body heat. Since I have melasma near my eyes, I naturally applied sunscreen there, but it caused some eye irritation. After 5 hours, I reapplied, and there was a slight white cast. I thought it would improve over time, so I waited an hour and tried to spread it with clean hands, but it pilled up like dirt, leaving my face patchy. Although it claims to be easy to wash off, I had to use cleansing tissues twice and then wash with a low pH foam cleanser. It doesn't suit my skin, even though the ingredients seem good. I applied it twice today at 9 AM and 2 PM, and I've already used half the tube. It's 50ml, and you can see how much is left by holding it up to a light. The slightly emulsion-like texture seems to make it run out quickly. As a sunscreen nomad, I've learned that no matter how good a product is, it's useless if it doesn't suit your skin. If there's any helpful advice, it's that trying sunscreen samples first is probably the wisest approach. - wl*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 22, 2025
It's incredibly gentle. I bought it for elementary and kindergarten kids. It's so mild that you don't even need a second cleanse. I really appreciate how non-irritating and gentle it is on the skin. There's nothing particularly bad about it. It's so gentle and non-irritating that I feel completely at ease using it on children. I can't think of any downsides. - ha*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 18, 2025
It applies lightly without being too white, and leaves a nice glow when used under foundation. Highly recommended as a lightweight sunscreen! None whatsoever - gi***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 18, 2024
✓ Combination dehydrated skin, extremely sensitive skin condition, seborrheic dermatitis ✓ My skin condition fluctuates greatly, and recently my skin has been acting up. While looking for a sunscreen, I found a sample and decided to try it out ✓ The biggest advantage is that it's gentle and moisturizing. Even though my skin is super sensitive, it didn't cause major reactions. However, I did notice some blemishes on my chin area in the evening, but I don't think it's related to the sunscreen ✓ If you have oily skin, this might feel too rich. I have combination dehydrated skin, and maybe because I layered my skincare products well, my face was quite shiny by evening ✓ This could be seen as an advantage, but there's absolutely no white cast! Since I'm looking for something with tone correction that I can use without foundation, I probably won't buy the full-size product. But if you want a sunscreen without white cast, I highly recommend this ✓ For oily skin types, it might work better with a minimal skincare routine underneath ✓ The texture seems like it would work well under foundation too - sp********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedSep 26, 2024
I got to try this sunscreen last year when it was included in a Hwahae box. It's a gentle sunscreen that applies smoothly without leaving any white cast. I can even rub my eyes after applying it without any irritation, which makes it very comfortable to use. The tube packaging makes it easy to apply on the body, and since it's an easy-wash type, there's no need for double cleansing. This makes it great for using with kids too. It feels a bit rich on the skin. Being an easy-wash product, it might be a bit challenging to use during sweaty summer days. - li******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 27, 2024
As a pregnant woman searching for a gentle sunscreen, I stumbled upon this gem. It absorbs beautifully and is so mild on the skin! While I haven't found any major drawbacks yet, it's worth noting that the coverage is on the lighter side. - gn********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedAug 22, 2024
I usually have great skin, but I'm someone who breaks out whenever I use sunscreen. I've tried several baby sunscreens, but they all caused breakouts and really messed up my skin. So I decided to give this one a try since it has good ingredients, and wow, I haven't had a single blemish! It's amazing. The absorption is great, no breakouts, it's just perfect. If you're like me and tend to break out from sunscreen, I absolutely recommend this one. It's truly a lifesaver! Since it's a physical sunscreen, having to apply it 30 minutes before going out can be a bit challenging. I'm a bit of a late sleeper, so that's tough. But aside from this, there are no downsides. It's perfect! The sunscreen is quite moisturizing, so if you have oily skin like me, I'd recommend keeping your base skincare routine simple before applying this sunscreen! - my**********Combination SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 19, 2024
I love that I can apply this product generously, knowing its ingredients are safe. The way it absorbs and its non-sticky feel are also quite satisfying. The staying power seems a bit weak, and admittedly, the coverage isn't as strong as I'd like. - mo************Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 3, 2024
Usage dates: June 1st-3rd Volume: 50ml Application: Applies smoothly with a comfortably moist feel. Absorption: Absorbs well into the skin after a few rubs without leaving a white cast. Moisturizing power: Skin remains hydrated even 7 hours after application. Recommended skin type: Seems suitable for all skin types. No eye irritation at all, and any cream residue on hands washes off easily with water. The only downside is a slightly peculiar scent when first applied, but it disappears once the cream is absorbed.
