While this gel cream isn't exceptionally hydrating, it works well as a base layer before my regular moisturizer. I've been using it consistently because it seems to pair nicely with mugwort, which agrees with my skin. I don't have any complaints about this product. I really liked the balanced hydration - it's just right, not too much. It doesn't feel sticky at all. I'd definitely recommend this as a great value for money product. The staying power doesn't seem to be that great. I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes. Overall, this is a pretty good moisturizer. When you first apply it, it feels very hydrating, and then it finishes with a slightly firmer texture on the skin. It might feel a bit thick when applied and could seem to sit on top of the skin, but it's a reliable, fail-safe cream! The product felt moisturizing with a slight oily sensation. It seems like it would be well-suited for combination skin. In winter, it worked well, but I think it will be difficult to use in other seasons.. There is a scent from the cream, and it felt a bit strong for me.

But this cream is amazing for calming the skin! Even when applied generously, it absorbs quickly within minutes. There's no stickiness at all, and it makes my skin feel firm and adheres well. What I love most is that there's no itching when applied, and it has a slight cooling effect which feels great! My skin is already quite sensitive and prone to irritation, so I often experience itching and tingling with other products. However, with the Bring Green Artemisia Calming Gel Cream, there's absolutely no irritation. It's so gentle that I can use it frequently without any issues. The quantity is less than I expected, so it runs out quickly, which is disappointing. That's the main drawback. Since you have to scoop it out with your fingers, the hygiene aspect is a bit concerning. It would be better if it came in a tube format. I'm writing this review now because I personally think it's a perfect summer product! It feels genuinely hydrating and has an opaque aloe soothing gel vibe. It seems to provide more hydration than oil, so I especially recommend it for those with oily skin. Even though I have dry skin, I layer it generously without any issues. You know how after using a product a few times, your skin starts to recognize it? This one gives a completely lightweight, hydrating feel. I consider it a versatile item and plan to repurchase. I love that there's no greasy or sticky feeling at all, but those with dry skin might want to use it as a supplementary product. It's not a high-density, oil-rich, ultra-nourishing type, but rather a hydration-packed, lightweight formula. So, those with dry skin should use it as an additional step! Even though I have dry skin, I dislike heavy textures, so I find myself reaching for this quite often. I apply it generously and layer it after using ampoules and creams. This is possible because it doesn't feel slippery or sticky at all.

It's gentle on the skin and doesn't cause any blemishes. There's not much to criticize. If I had to nitpick, I'd say those with very dry skin might need a more nourishing serum.
