I tried the PDRN cream as a free gift. It was my first time using Zenabell as a cream, and since it worked well for me, I decided to take a chance on their sunscreen despite my reservations. To cut to the chase, it made me cry buckets! Skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes. With organic UV filters, I usually experience tingling, a burning sensation, and eye irritation. I'm not sure which specific ingredients don't agree with me, so I prefer not to risk it with organic filters. I generally stick to mineral sunscreens. I applied this product alone after my regular skincare routine (used once in March). Pros: - Subtle chrysanthemum or chamomile scent - Absorbs well - Adequate brightening effect - No burning sensation on the skin Cons: - Severe pilling in eyebrows and pores (impossible to use the recommended amount; not recommended for acne-prone skin with lots of peach fuzz) - Feels greasy at first, then drying (the peachy tone-up effect makes the greasiness feel even more pronounced) - Eye irritation (I didn't notice it immediately, but it gradually developed in a dry environment. My eyes felt irritated and dry. While working on my computer in a heated indoor space near my home, I ended up shedding a flood of tears and had to go home to wash it off after just three hours. I wanted to tough it out, but failed miserably) Personally, it felt like this product combined the drawbacks of both organic and mineral sunscreens. I think it might work well for those with smooth skin texture who want to skip foundation (if the ingredients agree with their skin, of course). - bl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2025
I tried the Zenavel PDRN cream and liked it, so I decided to order their sunscreen too. Given my skin type, it's not an exaggeration to say that finding a suitable sunscreen is nearly impossible for me... The sunscreen provides a natural brightening effect without leaving a white cast, and it feels like it absorbs well over time! Unfortunately, I keep getting painful, hard blemishes. This tends to happen whenever I use sunscreen, so it might not be specifically related to this product! - ki*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 30, 2024
It absorbs smoothly without leaving a white cast. The complexion naturally brightens. There was a slight stickiness. For me, there weren't really any downsides. - ql*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 2, 2024
Texture: The consistency is somewhat thick, making it closer to a moisturizing cream than a hydrating one. However, the texture itself isn't stiff but rather soft, so it absorbs well. Finish: The finish isn't sticky but rather leaves the skin feeling smooth. After application, it doesn't feel heavy or tacky, but instead light and fresh - perfect for this weather! I'd recommend it as a summer sunscreen! Effectiveness: With its high SPF and PA++++ rating, you can use it with confidence. From my experience, I didn't notice any tanning or burning, so it seems to provide good UV protection. As someone who burns easily, I'm satisfied with this level of protection! Sensitivity: I have sensitive skin prone to dermatitis and blemishes, but I didn't experience any major issues with this product. It didn't cause any breakouts, redness, or irritation. Amount control: If you don't control the amount well, you might experience some pilling or clumping. You need to be careful with application. There's also a slight white cast, so if you really dislike white cast, I'd recommend trying a different product. - sj*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 24, 2024
This is my holy grail sunscreen! It brightens my complexion beautifully without any white cast. The formula has a powdery finish, making it perfect for daily use. It's a bit on the pricey side, and it was somewhat hard to find. But there's no white cast, and it's just right for me. - si******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2024
It brightens up your complexion with a lovely pink hue. I love how gentle it is on the skin! When I apply foundation after this sunscreen, it seems to create a slight separation on my skin. It's great for evening out the skin tone on your neck. A perfect alternative to a brightening moisturizer! - dl**Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 12, 2024
It definitely brightens your complexion. While the color is skin-toned, it doesn't look exactly like your natural skin tone when applied. I think it would work great mixed with foundation or BB cream. No eye irritation either. As someone with super sensitive skin, I usually get itchy and have an allergic reaction to sunscreens. This one does cause similar issues, but that's just how my skin is - there's nothing wrong with the product itself. Controlling the amount is crucial with this one. Always start by applying a tiny bit and then add more if needed. - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 30, 2024
I've used the sample about 4 times. It's a sunscreen that provides a beautiful brightening effect, lightening the complexion by about half a shade. There's absolutely no greasy feeling, and it doesn't pill at all. This product seems to be a sunscreen that's more suitable for oily skin types rather than dry skin. - sn****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 28, 2024
A natural yet absolutely gorgeous brightening moisturizer. It creates a slightly powdery finish that makes your face look fresh and matte! The powdery look actually means it's drying. After being out and about, you really feel the dryness when you get home! Also, if you apply it over a cream, it tends to pill quite a bit. It might work better if you let your skincare absorb well before applying. Plus, in an attempt to prevent pilling, I tried using just one serum and one cream before the sunscreen, but it still caused white flakes to appear. It's far too drying for my skin. I really love this brand's cream, so this is disappointing. The Jennybell cream tends to pill a bit if you apply sunscreen right after. It seems you need to let the cream absorb thoroughly before applying. - yo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2024
The tube packaging makes it easy to control the amount, and it's a sunscreen you can apply effortlessly like a basic skincare product! Well, I haven't found any drawbacks so far. I'm using it quite happily.
