The cleansing foam I bought matches well with the Hwahae extract, and it's decent. It seems the salicylic acid is causing irritation, so I don't recommend it. - an******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 18, 2024
It's great for morning cleansing. I especially love that it's fragrance-free. It's not overly harsh and doesn't leave that squeaky-clean feeling. This might not suit those who prefer a more thorough cleanse. - ah*******Oily SkinRecommendedMar 6, 2024
First off, for someone like me with combination dehydrated skin and deep dryness, this product was just okay! It felt gentle, probably due to being low-irritation, but ultimately it was so-so. However, I appreciated that it didn't have any strange scents, and even though my skin has been super sensitive lately, it didn't cause any irritation, which was great. The best part? It was perfect for my mom who has extremely sensitive skin! She usually sticks to her tried-and-true products, but after trying this once, she absolutely loved it. She said the foam wasn't excessive, it was gentle and non-irritating, and left her skin feeling moisturized afterwards! I was a bit disappointed with the lather - it didn't seem to foam up well? Since I'm sensitive to friction, I had to use more product than usual. This made the cleansing process a bit tedious.. However, my mom, who was thrilled with the product overall, loved how gentle it was, so I think this aspect might be hit or miss. Oh, and I noticed that the ingredients list wasn't entirely impressive~ - z8********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 24, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

I've attached before and after cleansing photos. It totally kills that oily shine after makeup. While trying this product, I was reminded of a similar cleanser from Senka. In my experience, that one left my skin feeling quite dry after washing, but this AC foam cleanser seems to strike just the right balance. It also gives that sensation of thoroughly washing away excess oil, so it seems to do a good job of removing sebum and oiliness. For an accurate review, I tried using it alone to remove makeup without double cleansing, and it truly leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean. My boyfriend even used it as a substitute for shaving cream when he ran out. He said that unlike other products that aren't smooth enough and can cause nicks, this one was gentle and gave him a good shave. The cleansing power is incredible - it's even great for cleansing behind the ears when showering. It leaves you feeling much cleaner than soap or body wash. It lathers well, has a pleasant scent, and doesn't cause any blemishes. I think I'll be sticking with this one. It's also great for those times when you get oil on your hands - it leaves them feeling much cleaner and softer than washing with soap. The only downside is that a lot of product comes out at once, making it a bit tricky to control the amount. - pi*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 24, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

This product works great for deep cleansing! Packaging: While it's a matter of personal preference, I find the exterior design absolutely stunning. Ordinary: It doesn't have any particularly distinctive features compared to other cleansing foams. - go*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedFeb 24, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

This product caught my attention because it's not only low pH but also contains BHA, making it great for managing dead skin cells. The consistency is quite fluid, which makes it easy to work up a nice lather! Among all the low pH foam cleansers I've tried, this one left my skin feeling the squeakiest. At first, I was so surprised that I thought it might actually be slightly alkaline. Personally, I prefer products that leave my skin feeling more hydrated, so I found the excessive squeaky-clean feeling a bit disappointing. However, I'd recommend this to those who enjoy a thorough, clean finish! - ha*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 24, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

As someone with oily skin, cleansing power is my top priority when choosing a low pH foam cleanser, and this product definitely delivers. Another plus is that it rinses off cleanly without that slippery feeling typical of low pH cleansers, leaving my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed. The fragrance was more artificial than I expected, which wasn't particularly pleasant. Also, the foam cleanser's consistency is quite thin, so it's easy to dispense too much with just a light squeeze, making it difficult to control the amount. It would be better if the dispenser opening was a bit smaller. Additionally, it doesn't lather up very well on its own. I found using a foam maker or mesh was more effective for creating a good lather. I'd recommend this as a morning cleanser for those with oily skin. It has great cleansing effectiveness and doesn't leave any residue, which is fantastic. It also contains salicylic acid, which helps manage excess oil. - il******************Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 23, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

My skin reacts visibly to incompatible ingredients, so please keep that in mind! Product texture ⭐⭐⭐⭐ When squeezed from the tube, it has a moist texture without being too runny. It holds its shape and doesn't dissolve in water or foam up without rolling, which emphasizes the importance of massaging it in! Foam quantity ⭐⭐ As I have sensitive skin, I don't apply cleansers directly. Instead, I mix them with water in my hands first. With this AC Solution foam cleanser, it initially creates a good lather, but the foam disappears when massaged onto the skin. It feels more like it's emulsifying into an oil-like consistency rather than the bubbles simply deflating. (It's not overly runny though. The more you massage without water, the more it breaks down, so adding more water might make it feel oilier!) Scent ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This scent seems like it would be universally appealing! It's a typical soap fragrance, leaning slightly more towards herbal than floral. ✔Cleansing effectiveness ⭐⭐⭐ It removes facial residue well with a light cleanse, but for sunscreen and makeup, a double cleanse might be better! The cleansing power was above average whether I created foam or not. ✔Deep dryness? ⭐⭐⭐⭐ There was barely any deep dryness! Usually, my skin feels tight if I don't apply skincare for 30 minutes after cleansing, but not with this product! My skin felt slightly dry to the touch after washing, but not uncomfortably so. ✔Soothing effect ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My sensitive skin has been acting up lately, and while this didn't dramatically 'cure' it, I noticed small bumps calming down from the 8th day of use. Most importantly, it didn't cause any tightness even without applying skincare products after cleansing! It felt like it effectively removed impurities with minimal irritation, making it perfect for morning cleansing. ✔Overall impressions + Recommended skin types I've always preferred foam cleansers with lots of lather, and I was worried about trying something new when my skin was already acting up. However, after using it for over 10 days, I got used to its unique emulsifying texture and started appreciating its benefits, like quick morning cleansing and not having to worry about leftover foam. My skin calmed down without any additional irritation. In conclusion, this seems like a safe, reliable choice for many people. The ingredients are good, so I'd recommend it for sensitive skin types, and especially for those with oily skin as it effectively removes excess oil! Those concerned about deep dryness should give it a try too! The foam quantity is on the lower side, so you need to massage it directly onto dry skin when rolling. This might be concerning for those worried about irritation, and you might feel a bit of dryness during the massage. However, you'll see it rinse off completely with just 4 splashes, and there's particularly little deep dryness or tightness. The main drawback seems to be the texture during cleansing. If you want ample foam, you should minimize water use. However, for sensitive skin types like myself, I wouldn't recommend applying the foam cleanser directly to your skin right after squeezing it out. Just try to use as little water as possible with this product. - py*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The consistency is more like a serum that flows easily. Scent: Surprisingly, it has a refreshing fragrance. Experience: The best part was how my skin felt after cleansing - no tightness at all, just a fresh feeling. Its lightweight formula washed off easily without leaving any residue. It also lathered up nicely. I even noticed a pleasant cooling effect. Effect on blemishes: I saw improvements in skin soothing and dead skin cell removal. As for acne, I'll need to observe a bit longer! However, I'm encouraged that my blemishes aren't getting worse and seem to be gradually subsiding, so I'll continue using it. The only downside is that it's quite runny, so when you open the cap, a lot can pour out, making it tricky to control the amount. Other than that, I'm so satisfied I can't find any other cons. For best results, make sure to massage it in thoroughly to help remove dead skin cells effectively. - a0**********Oily SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

Surprisingly, there was no tightness after washing, which I found satisfying. The scent was a sophisticated herbal aroma - not exactly my style, but not bothersome either. Among the low pH cleansers I've tried, this one had the most pleasant rinsing experience. The dispenser opening is quite large, making it difficult to control the amount. Also, it doesn't foam up much, so you need to use a bit more product than usual.
