This product also did not cause significant breakouts for her skin type. I originally purchased it based on a recommendation for dry skin, and chose Gudale because I heard their products are gentle.

- If you want to use a retinol ampoule, I would recommend the Gudale one. It is a regret-free cosmetic product.

I've been suspecting that the "carrot seed oil" ingredient in the nutrition label I recently ran through Excel is causing me trouble.

I've struggled with lifelong atopic dermatitis, leaving my entire body with severely dry skin and reddened complexion. The scarring from excessive scratching due to atopic dermatitis has led to keratinization, leaving discolored and uneven patches all over. Yet, I'm a confident 50-year-old woman who can proudly wear a swimsuit in the summer.
While there are more ingredients that don't suit me than those that do, I'm a cosmetics enthusiast who tries to identify suitable components by reviewing the EWG ingredient list, rather than just looking for 'good' or 'bad' ingredients. If I'm unsure, I'll just go ahead and purchase the product to test it out myself.

Pros:
1. I was able to purchase this during a launch promotion, getting it at a great price. The cost-effectiveness is not bad for a retinol ampoule.
I also bought the cream.

2. The retinol I used previously was 509 IU, which always left my face flushed, so I was looking for a gentler retinol product. This one is 506 IU and is formulated with Jeju black carrot, which sounded like a good option.

3. The texture is not too oily or too dry for my severely dehydrated, aging skin, but it may feel a bit heavy for those with oily skin and T-zone.

4. I started using this at the beginning of summer, and at first, I wondered why the absorption was slower compared to other ampoules. But later, I realized it's due to the retinol formula and the seasonal factors.

Cons:
1. Despite claims of using encapsulated retinol, Jeju black carrot extract, and completing low-irritation testing, I experienced noticeable reactions from the first use, which didn't happen with the previous 0.2% retinol product I used.2. From the very first day of using this product, my face started breaking out. The next morning, I had 3 pimples on my forehead, nose, and chin area. Over the next few days, an average of 2-3 more would appear.
While products that suit me well usually make my complexion glow, this one instead made my skin look dull and dark, perhaps due to the Jeju black carrot.
The reason I felt the absorption was unusually slow was likely because my skin didn't agree with the formula. As you know, products that work well are absorbed seamlessly, but this one just wouldn't sink in properly.

3. I couldn't give up on it, so I persisted in using it for about a week, despite my face being in complete disarray. In the end, I had to stop and treat it with home remedies for 2 weeks, but the issues didn't improve, so I had to go to the doctor and get an injection to recover.

4. Despite claims of being gentle, this was an extremely poor match for my highly sensitive, atopic skin. It wasn't just a minor mismatch - it was bad enough to require medical treatment.
The cream didn't work for me either.
I'm leaving this review to warn others that despite the hype, this is not as gentle as claimed, especially for those with conditions like mine.

5. I suspect the "carrot seed oil" ingredient is the culprit behind my breakouts. I've had issues with similar products containing this ingredient, such as:

I tried retinol products for the first time and was pleased that there was no irritation on my skin. It seems good as it can simultaneously care for whitening, wrinkles, and pores.

I didn't really feel any significant improvement in wrinkles or skin texture. I only used three drops on my face, and since I didn't use a lot, I'm not sure if that's why I didn't notice any skin improvements.
