It's incredibly hydrating. This makes it a great product for touch-ups. As a standalone foundation, the coverage seems a bit lacking. More importantly, it gets way too oily. Repurchasing is questionable. The product appears to be a moisturizing base or foundation. It excels in providing hydration, making it suitable for touch-ups throughout the day. However, it falls short as a primary foundation due to insufficient coverage. The main issue is its tendency to become excessively oily over time, which might be problematic for those with combination or oily skin types. This oiliness factor makes the reviewer hesitant about repurchasing the product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 16, 2025
The color range is around 20 shades, so it's quite bright! The internal cushion is made of a firm, elastic material, and the case is lovely^_^ It's a moisturizing cushion with an essence-like feel, and the coverage is quite good! So when you apply it, a subtle glow comes through beautifully. Especially, there's no pore clogging or around the nose, so the skin expression looks particularly lovely!! Overall, it's a well-balanced cushion. The color was relatively bright for me, but the adhesion was somewhat lacking. Additionally, the puff size was unusually smaller, which caused a slight discomfort. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 14, 2025
I've been using this for about two months, and as someone with dry skin, I'm always on the hunt for a hydrating cushion. I heard the Yves Saint Laurent cushion was moisturizing, so I grabbed it duty-free. It's incredibly hydrating and amazing! In my experience, there was absolutely no pilling. However, being a hydrating cushion, don't expect miraculous coverage. That said, it provides decent basic coverage, and the hydration is unbeatable. It's simply the best! Comparing shade 10 to other cushions, it's very similar to the lightest shade of the Fenty Beauty cushion, which I use. It's suitable for those who typically use shade 21 or slightly lighter. There's just one downside: the price. But grabbing it duty-free is the way to go! A little goes a long way - you can pat it on or blend it out, and it's still sufficient. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 8, 2025
Texture - ★★★★☆ (4/5) The semi-matte formula adheres moistly at first, then sets to a soft, powdery finish! I loved how it clung to the skin without any patchiness, creating a smooth, even application. For drier areas, applying thin layers works beautifully for a more polished look. Longevity - ★★★★★ (5/5) This foundation barely budges over time, and when it does fade, it does so gracefully without looking messy. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I was really impressed that it stayed flawless until the afternoon without any touch-ups. Oxidation - ★★★★☆ (4/5) There was a slight deepening of tone after extended wear, but it remained natural-looking without turning dull. The minimal oxidation made it suitable even for summer use. Color - ★★★★☆ (4/5) The light beige tone leans neutral to cool, perfect for summer cool-toned skin! It has just the right amount of brightness without being overly pink, naturally evening out the complexion. If you prefer a bright, radiant base, you'll be pleased with this. Coverage - ★★★★☆ (4/5) With medium coverage, it naturally conceals redness and blemishes. It adheres thinly while noticeably evening out the skin tone, making the complexion look clearer with just one layer. You can achieve a flawless base even without concealer. The puff is a bit firm, so be careful with product amount control when first using it! - Hwahae UserOily SkinDec 8, 2024
The lightweight, hydrating formula is perfect for touch-ups throughout the day The texture might be too thin, causing makeup to fade quickly - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 5, 2024
I used this foundation line 5 years ago and loved it for summer. I switched from NARS to Yves Saint Laurent for my summer cushion. It doesn't oxidize, still has a great pink base, and it's perfect for combination skin. Give it a try! It's hydrating, has good coverage, and absorbs well. Usually, I always use foundation, but this one is great even on its own! The YSL pink cushion didn't work for me, but this one is a perfect match. There's nothing bad... except the price. You'll need to stock up at duty-free shops when traveling abroad! The skin finish is amazing! If you use a shade lighter, there's no darkening at all. Even a light dab gives fantastic coverage. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinOct 6, 2024
I love how it feels moisturizing and adheres thinly to the skin. The packaging is also really pretty! Unfortunately, it doesn't cover blemishes well, so imperfections are still quite visible, which is disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSep 21, 2024
This is the cushion of my dreams... It's absolutely flawless in every way. The finish is beautifully dewy yet semi-matte, giving a gorgeous skin-like appearance. The staying power is impressive, and the shade is just lovely! I can't find any cushion that comes close to replacing this one. The only downside is the price... But honestly, there's no other cushion that can truly replace this one! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 18, 2024
Skin type: I have dry skin prone to developing milia and blemishes when dehydrated. My complexion is medium to fair with a slightly yellow undertone. I purchased shade 10, which is one shade lighter than my natural skin tone. The moment I applied this product, I noticed my skin looked brighter and beautifully enhanced! There's hardly any darkening effect either. What I'm most satisfied with is how hydrating it feels on my dry skin (personally, I'd recommend it more for spring, fall, and winter rather than summer). The coverage is somewhat lacking, but it's not terrible - I'd say it's satisfactory for everyday use. The fact that I'm on my third bottle speaks for itself! The scent is that luxurious fragrance you'd encounter in a high-end department store. I'm quite pleased with it. It's excellent for touch-ups throughout the day. The quantity for the price is disappointing. For someone like me who applies makeup daily for work, this lasts only about 3 weeks to a month. Another downside is the packaging change. In one of the photos, you can see the before and after of the redesign. The previous version had a textured surface with small squares for controlled dispensing, but the new design is smooth. I miss that feature. Instead of applying a large amount at once, try layering thin coats for a more natural and beautiful skin finish! Rather than evenly distributing the same amount all over, I recommend adjusting the quantity considering the contours of your face for a more dimensional look. - Hwahae UserOily SkinJul 28, 2024
My holy grail cushion... It applies thinly and strikes the perfect balance between matte and dewy, creating a beautifully natural complexion There's nothing to complain about. The amount is a bit small, but if you apply a brightening moisturizer sunscreen generously beforehand, even a light application of this cushion looks flawless
