After getting a recommendation from YouTuber Director Pi, I carefully checked the full ingredient list on Hwahae and immediately purchased it there! A combination of low-strength retinol and bakuchiol? Perfect! It's great for treating pores and blemishes on oily skin. After trying the "Mamonde Pore Shrinker Bakuchiol Cream": 1. It has a smooth texture that's easy to apply as the last step of your skincare routine. 2. The retinol speeds up skin cell turnover, and I noticed my skin texture became smoother first. 3. When applied at night, I definitely noticed tighter pores in the morning. 4. Since it contains gentle bakuchiol, I had no photosensitivity (sun sensitivity) when applying it in the morning and going outside. 5. It has sebum-controlling effects, so my skin feels less oily. 6. I noticed a slight improvement in dark spots around my eyes and freckles. If you want to see more definitive results from retinol, you should use a high-strength product with 0.1% to 0.3%. However, you'll have to deal with more side effects and irritation.
