It's such a great product! The stick format makes it easy to apply with a quick swipe. Being a balm type, it provides better hydration than emulsions or creams, but it's not heavy, so you can apply it lightly. That's really wonderful. As it's a stick balm, my baby might resist if I try to apply it on the face, so I gently swipe it on the driest areas like wrists, ankles, knees, neck, and around the mouth. It's more convenient than applying an emulsion, and unlike emulsions, it doesn't leave a damp residue or take long to absorb, which is great. After the baby's bath, I swipe it on, and I even apply it around my eyes sometimes. It's good for both baby and mom - talk about killing two birds with one stone! I'm so satisfied!
ConsAlthough it's a stick balm, it doesn't feel as thick or heavy as you might expect. It feels like applying a very thin layer of Vaseline, so it's good to apply the emulsion first and then use the stick balm on dry areas for extra hydration.
TipApply the emulsion all over first, then use the stick balm on dry areas for extra moisture. My baby's elbows and knees, which were rough from all the crawling, have become smooth and soft!

You can easily open and close it by twisting the case. True to Atopalm's reputation, it has skin-friendly ingredients and is fragrance-free, making it suitable for all skin types without any concerns. Looking at the ingredients list, I noticed it contains many oils for hydration, but when actually using it, it doesn't feel greasy at all. Instead, it leaves a fresh, matte finish that feels great. It applies smoothly without being too thick, so it should be fine to use on your face as well.
ConsWith its ample hydration and matte finish, it seems like it would suit most skin types. However, personally, when I use balm-type products beyond emulsions and creams, I tend to prefer intense moisture and richness (just my personal preference). So the lighter feel wasn't exactly what I was looking for. It feels more geared towards everyday skincare and portability rather than an intensive night treatment for skin recovery.
TipI recommend keeping it in your purse during winter and applying it lightly to dry areas as needed throughout the day.
