As a mineral sunscreen with a beige tint, it's great for achieving a natural look or as a lightweight base. Unlike transparent mineral sunscreens, the beige tint requires careful application to avoid uneven coverage. However, it's not an issue if you're using it as a base. As someone who rarely uses skin bases, I found it works well to apply transparent mineral sunscreen first, then use this product as a highlight on cheekbones, forehead, and center of the chin for a brightening effect! - hy************Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 9, 2025
Compared to other sunscreens, this one provides exceptional coverage. I'm on my third bottle now, and I've never once found it irritating! As someone with extremely oily and sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes after applying it. There wasn't anything particularly bad, but since I have very oily skin, even the slightest hint of richness in a product doesn't work for me. This one did have a tiny bit of oiliness. However, it's still less greasy compared to other sunscreens, so if you have oily skin like mine, just use some powder on top! - to**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 12, 2025
I love this sunscreen because it brightens my complexion naturally without making me look too pale I'm using it comfortably without any disappointments or inconveniences - it's become a staple in my routine - je*************Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 29, 2025
It applies lightly and has a nice matte finish! It naturally brightens and evens out your complexion! I can't think of anything disappointing about it. I'm not sure if it's just okay or actually good - it's hard to tell. - be*********Combination SkinRecommendedDec 16, 2024
I snagged this during a sale event, so I got it for a great price! I usually try at least one product whenever Isntree releases something new, and I absolutely adore their yam line. So when I saw this, I thought 'Why not?' Let me tell you, it's absolutely fantastic for a foundation-free look! There's honestly nothing bad to say! After buying this, I've been raving about it to everyone I know! - mm*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 12, 2024
- Purchase motivation I bought this after seeing it recommended on YouTube as a foundation-free brightening moisturizer with SPF! I was particularly drawn to it because cushions and foundations require considering many factors like darkening or caking, and it's bothersome to apply makeup in the morning and touch up throughout the day. Since I'm not usually one to wear makeup, I decided to buy this as a foundation-free option! - Advantages 1️⃣ It evens skin tone naturally The reason I avoid cushions or foundations is that they look too made-up, and if you don't touch up, it doesn't look pretty and is troublesome. However, since my skin tone varies in different areas, which bothers me and doesn't look attractive, I decided to buy this brightening moisturizer with SPF. Unless you apply too much, it evens out your complexion naturally! 2️⃣ It adheres well to the skin I use a puff to apply sunscreen, and while it sticks well even when applied by hand, using a puff and patting it on makes it adhere even better! 3️⃣ It's not noticeable My skin looks a bit patchy due to acne scars, and I thought using foundation or cushion would be too obvious, so I bought this. Unless there are dead skin cells, it's not noticeable, which is great! - Characteristics The texture isn't runny, it feels just like foundation! When first applied, it feels moisturizing and gives a glowy finish, but over time it might feel slightly dry! The scent isn't artificial, so I don't think it will be polarizing, but as time passes, a unique smell does emerge. First, if dead skin cells form due to dryness, the areas with dead skin cells and where they've flaked off become quite noticeable! As time passes, the brightening effect fades, and there's a slight oiliness that can make some areas of the skin appear darker! For those with textured skin, if you don't use powder, it can accentuate the texture! It's not great at covering redness or dark circles! You might need to use concealer to make your skin look pretty! When using, try applying it with a puff for better adherence to the skin, and using powder can make it look even prettier! - wl******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedNov 28, 2024
I have skin with redness and blemish marks. I love that I can lightly cover them with just sunscreen, without needing makeup on a daily basis. Perhaps due to my sensitive combination dehydrated skin, I notice my skin sometimes becomes flushed in the afternoon. Keep your skincare routine simple, but ensure plenty of hydration! - sc*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedNov 24, 2024
It seems to have a slight brightening effect while keeping the skin moisturized, which is really nice I haven't experienced any downsides yet, but I'll make sure to use it regularly and keep an eye out - ks********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 9, 2024
As a high school student, I wanted something that would make my skin look clear without the hassle of full makeup. This product is perfect! It provides a nice brightening effect while also covering blemishes. The best part? It smells like sunscreen rather than makeup, so it's less likely to be noticed. The formula isn't as clear or white as typical sunscreen - it has more of a makeup-like color. If you quickly wipe it off with a wet wipe, it might be noticeable. While the scent isn't detectable at first, after 2-3 hours, if you rub your skin, there's a slightly unpleasant odor. If you dust some powder over it after application, your skin looks even better! - ru*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 25, 2024
As someone with oily skin that also feels dry underneath, I always avoided mineral sunscreens. But I stumbled upon this one by chance, and I'm glad I did! It's like a hybrid between a sunscreen and a BB cream. The beautiful apricot tint is perfect for those who prefer to go foundation-free. When first applied, it feels incredibly hydrating - almost to the point of being greasy. The thin consistency spreads easily, requiring only a small amount. However, due to its mineral nature, I found using a puff worked better than fingers, especially around tricky areas like the sides of the nose. Initially, it might seem too oily and white, but after 10-20 minutes, it settles into a semi-matte finish with a subtle color. I'd recommend this to anyone who's been disappointed by regular sunscreens but doesn't want to use BB creams or foundations. Being primarily a sunscreen, it doesn't offer much coverage. It's more suitable for evening out your overall complexion. Those looking for a powdery finish might find it too moisturizing. For best results, apply a slightly heavier skincare routine than usual, then use a puff to blend small amounts of the product.
