The coverage is fantastic! It applies smoothly, adheres well to the skin, and feels great overall. It tends to go on a bit thick... That's somewhat disappointing. This review highlights the product's excellent coverage and how well it absorbs into the skin. The user appreciates its smooth application and good adherence. However, they note that it can be applied quite thickly, which they find slightly disappointing. This feedback suggests that while the product performs well in many aspects, some users might prefer a lighter application option. - ry**************Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMar 2, 2025
The Saem's concealer is truly exceptional. The generous amount lasts forever. It's a blemish-free, complexion-enhancing marvel. Just dab it on with the puff at the end, and you're good to go! If your skincare base isn't solid, it can break down unattractively and settle into fine lines. The brush in the set doesn't apply thinly enough for me, so I mix it with something else to thin it out, then apply with a brush. - 04******Combination SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
I love how simple it is to use this product that combines color correction and skin coverage in one step It's so satisfactory that I can't really think of any downsides - I'm using it without any issues - le*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesOct 26, 2024
Despite being a balm type, it's not too dry even for winter use. The generous amount and included corrector make it convenient. It offers good coverage, and the quality of the included brush is excellent. The darkening is severe, especially for shade 2. It becomes about two shades darker than when first applied. Initially, shade 2 seemed to match well, but over time it turned too red and dark, so I switched to shade 1.5 (which also darkens significantly). It's challenging for beginners to use. Being a balm type, it's difficult to control the amount, and on skin needing more coverage, you tend to apply it thickly, which seems to make it break down faster. While it could potentially be applied thinly and beautifully if used correctly, it takes a lot of time and requires a delicate touch, making it too difficult for the average person to use. After trying it once or twice, I didn't reach for it again. This product might be suitable for those with blemish-free skin or those skilled in applying delicate makeup. - d8********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 9, 2024
I bought this product that comes with a brush! The foundation balm works really well together with it. Three or four of my friends with oily skin loved it so much they bought it too! They say it's especially good for covering redness and blemishes. I use it to cover dark circles, and if you prep your skin well, it adheres like sticky rice cake! The large amount and sturdy case mean it'll last a long time. The Saem is known for their coverage after all! First off, I have dry skin with thin, translucent blue dark circles. Unfortunately, balm-type products tend to separate on dry skin. It also applies a bit thick, which caused it to clump a few times. For those with dry skin, I recommend applying a solid skincare base and then using this product sparingly! After thoroughly moisturizing your skin, give it enough time to absorb before using this product to prevent it from separating. Also, I found it works well if you lightly coat the brush, then blend it as you would with a moisturizing foundation, spreading it evenly. - by**********Dry SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedSep 3, 2024
First off, I have dry skin. Let me summarize the positives for you: 1. Great color selection, even for color correcting beginners 2. Generous amount of product 3. High coverage 4. Really effective for redness and dark circles 5. The included brush is a game-changer 6. Excellent staying power! Here's a summary of the drawbacks: 1. Can be drying for winter use (Even with a solid skincare routine, it still felt dry) 2. Limited range of shades - p2********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 22, 2024
It covers dark circles well and works great as a substitute for cushion foundation! I always use this for my makeup. It might transfer a bit if you touch it right after application, but after a little while, it doesn't budge at all, which is fantastic. It's a bit drying, so you might need to moisturize your skin well before applying it. - ly********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJun 8, 2024
The coverage was neither better nor worse compared to others - just average and decent. I really loved that they included a brush with it. The brush is seriously awesome! I suppose due to my body type, it seems to separate quite a bit. Even though I have oily skin and prep my skin well, it still lifts. - pa******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessMay 16, 2024
First off, I have dry, atopic, and sensitive skin. When I bought this, it came with a brush as part of a promotion. Now, let's start the review. 1. The concealer is a game-changer. The pink concealer does an excellent job of covering dark circles. It conceals well. Also, the green-tinted concealer effectively covers redness. Having two color-correcting concealers and one foundation in one product makes it great value for money. 2. Coverage is good!! The foundation balm also has great coverage. I can see why it's called a base makeup haven. I used the included brush to apply it, and it's great to use the brush's tension when applying. 1. Brush application leaves streak marks. Maybe it's because I'm not skilled, but when I apply it with the brush, it leaves visible streaks, so I always have to use a puff to blend them out. 2. It clumps and the makeup separates. Even with a solid skincare routine, it still settles into the creases around my nose and clumps easily. I expected it might clump since it's a balm, but I thought it wouldn't be so drying. It separates quickly due to the dryness. 3. The makeup sits on top of the skin. I didn't notice at first, but as I used it more, I felt the makeup sitting on top of my skin more noticeably. Even when my skin condition is good, it still feels like it's not absorbing well. 4. Dryness & emphasizes wrinkles. Because it's so drying, it really emphasizes wrinkles, especially around the eyes. The problem is, since it's a balm type, there's quite a bit of transfer, so I want to apply powder, but that makes the makeup dry out and separate quickly, so I can't even use powder. Make sure to use the included brush when applying! Despite the long list of cons, if you're looking for an affordable option that offers both color correction and coverage, this might be a good choice for you! - dm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 13, 2024
My skin type is quite sensitive due to rhinitis, and I have some blemishes! My skin is oily but lacks hydration. The coverage is excellent, effectively concealing imperfections. It allows for color correcting, which helps hide dark circles and evens out my complexion easily. I didn't notice any darkening when it fades. I got it with a brush set, making it more affordable. The brush quality is decent, so I'm using it regularly. It applies a bit thick, so I need to blend it more with a puff, and you can see the application marks. My skin isn't at its best lately, so it might be why it doesn't adhere perfectly and feels like it's sitting on top of my skin. Since the texture is closer to a concealer, it's quite rich and can sometimes cause pilling when applied thickly. It might work better if applied thinly over a good base product that absorbs well! Alternatively, it could be used just for concealing and color correcting.
