As someone with extremely dry lips and severe flaking, I absolutely can't wear matte lip products. I'm the type who can't live without lip balm, but I found it annoying to apply both lip balm and tint separately. So I decided to try this product, and it exceeded my expectations in every way! The color is fantastic, and the moisturizing effect is incredible. I love how it gives a beautifully transparent glow. I'm quite clumsy and keep losing it, so I'm on my third purchase already. I've tried other lip balm-type products, but this melting balm is in a league of its own. It's truly amazing. No flaking or dead skin cells showing... and no heavy feeling either. It works hard for your lips! It transfers and fades quickly. Since it doesn't have much staining power, you need to reapply once it wears off. The good review emphasizes the product's hydrating properties and its ability to address dry, flaky lips while providing a beautiful color and glow. The bad review points out issues with longevity and the need for frequent reapplication due to lack of staining power. - 11******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 24, 2025
True to its melting balm nature, it's delightfully rich and creamy. The color is quite intense too! It removes makeup really well, but it's a bit annoying how it sticks to hair. Then again, that's to be expected from a melting balm... - ch********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedMay 11, 2025
I mainly use deep shades, and this color is similar to Rom&nd's Nuancadamia. It has great color payoff for a lip balm-like texture! There's nothing particularly bad about it. Personally, I prefer this over Rom&nd's Nuga Sand because the color is more intense. - ki********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 25, 2025
The color becomes absolutely gorgeous when layered multiple times. I also loved how it gives a beautiful glow. I think it has no staying power at all. It's also too runny and smudges easily, so you need to be careful when applying it. - 20************Apr 23, 2025
The color was nice, but it was too thick, making it difficult to touch up or layer. After a while, dead skin cells started to appear, so I stopped using it after a few days. There was hardly any staining, I think. This is the first time I've been so reluctant to use a Rom&nd lip product. However, it seems that those who can control it well are applying it successfully, so if you're considering buying it, I recommend checking out various reviews before making a purchase. The texture felt more like it was sitting on the lips rather than being absorbed. However, this is just my personal opinion, so if you're thinking about buying it, I suggest you also look at other reviews for reference. - nh********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 19, 2025
✔️ Hydration that lasts What I loved most was how it kept my lips moisturized for hours. From the moment you apply it, it adheres softly, creating glossy lips without any dryness. Especially compared to tints or matte lip products, it gives a smooth finish without emphasizing dead skin cells on the lips, making it perfect for daily use. ✔️ Harmony of subtle color and scent The 'Scotch Nude' shade, true to its name, adds a natural vitality without being overwhelming. I highly recommend it to those who prefer a natural makeup look. And above all, the scent! It has a subtle yet pleasant fragrance that lifts my mood every time I apply it. The downside was that it felt a bit sticky, given how moisturizing it is. Especially on windy days, I found it slightly annoying when my hair kept sticking to my lips. This might vary from person to person, but it's something to be careful about on days when you wear your hair down. Instead of applying it normally, try gently tapping it on. This makes it easier to control the amount and achieve a more natural color payoff. - he**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedMar 6, 2025
Autumn vibes with my third self-purchased review of the same product in different shades! This melting balm applies with a plush finish. If you love the color, you'll want to stock up. Hydration: The melting balm texture provides intense moisture, giving a luscious honey-like glow. It's even more hydrating than most lip masks. Color Payoff: The pigmentation is impressive, and it's easy to apply a sheer layer or build up for more intensity. You can achieve any look you desire with ease. Color: It's a deep red-brown without too much yellow undertone. One thin layer gives a sultry red that's perfect for fall and winter. I highly recommend this for those with deep undertones that don't pull yellow. While it's not my absolute best shade, it has a truly captivating and beautiful quality. Typical Melting Balm Drawbacks: Be aware that it doesn't stain and can transfer easily. This is something to keep in mind when using. - jn*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 13, 2025
It's pleasantly moisturizing without feeling heavy, making it easy to apply. The shade is likely to suit those with warm undertones nicely. Given its moisturizing melting balm texture, it does tend to transfer a bit. - ch****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedDec 16, 2024
This is my holy grail lip product! It's absolutely stunning and perfect for warm-toned beauties. You can achieve that juicy, glazed lip look effortlessly. Unfortunately, it fades away too quickly. The staying power isn't as impressive as I'd hoped. For best results, apply this as the final step after your base makeup. - a3*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 3, 2024
It naturally enhances your lip color, making it a great substitute for regular lip balm! Being a lip balm, it understandably doesn't have great staying power. That's the only downside though.
