  Pros

  I loved how it felt as light as water, yet unlike other toners, it didn't leave my skin feeling dry even when used alone.

  Cons

  I didn't apply it any differently from other toners, but every time I used it, my eyes stung badly. Because of this, I won't be repurchasing.

  Tip

  It's more suitable as an absorbing toner rather than an exfoliating one.

  Pros

  My skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin, so in summer my whole face gets oily, but in winter the eye and mouth areas become extremely dry while the T-zone remains oily. I have super sensitive skin that gets redness and inflammation even from lack of sleep, and easily reacts to skincare products, so I have to be very careful with what I use. Given my sensitive skin, I'll be very honest in my review even though this is a provided product. What I liked: I'll use the product until the review deadline and then write my thoughts. Texture: It has a slightly viscous consistency. Since I don't wear makeup, I prefer lighter products during the day, so I only use this at night. However, I tried it once under makeup during the day and it worked well with my base products! It's not too heavy, so it doesn't cause pilling or make my makeup break down. Skin texture improvement: After using it the first night, I noticed my skin felt much softer when I washed my face in the morning!! The effect was most noticeable on the first day, and after that I may have gotten used to the improved texture, so the impact felt less dramatic. But I can definitely say it's effective. Gentle formula: Recently, even mild retinol products for improving skin texture have caused some redness for me, so I couldn't use them. But with this product, I didn't experience any irritation at all. I plan to continue using this for texture improvement.

  For some reason, I felt a slight tingling sensation around my eyes, so I deducted one star.

  Pros

  As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'd like to share my thoughts: 1. There's been a significant reduction in dead skin cells After switching from my previous toner containing sea water to one that's only good for pigmentation, I noticed some flaking on my face. But using this toner has helped manage the dead skin cells, much like when I used the sea water-infused toner. 2. It removes makeup almost as well as cleansing water While I can't speak for mascara as I rarely use it, it effectively removes eyeliner. It's a decent option for a first cleanse when you're in a pinch without cleansing water or oil. 3. Makeup applies smoothly As someone with dry skin, I used to apply emulsion after toner before using cushion foundation. With this toner, if applied well, I can skip the emulsion and my makeup still goes on beautifully.

  Cons

  1. It stings quite a bit if it gets in your eyes When removing eye makeup, it can be quite painful if it gets in your eyes. You need to be extra careful around the eye area. 2. Feels a bit pricey for the amount you get Perhaps because my previous toner had frequent promotions and came in larger quantities, this one feels a bit expensive for its volume.

  Tip

  It felt quite sticky when I first started using it. I'd recommend giving it a good shake before each use for better results.
