  Texture and Formula It's a water-based toner with a slight viscosity. It's not completely runny like water, but has a subtle thickness, making it more suitable as an exfoliating toner rather than for toner masking! When applied to the skin, it initially absorbs quickly like water, then leaves a soft, refreshing feeling that makes your skin feel smooth and revitalized. Scent It's nearly fragrance-free. Those with super sensitive skin might detect a slight alcohol scent, but most people should be able to use it without any noticeable fragrance issues.

  Cons

  Room for Improvement: The bottle opening is similar to that of an acetone bottle, which can cause the toner to drip around the edges. This was a bit inconvenient. While it's not exactly a 'bang for your buck' in terms of volume, it's not ideal for those who want to use it generously for toner masking. However, I found it works well as an exfoliating toner. Also, rather than giving a deep cleansing sensation, it feels more like it's refining the skin texture. Therefore, it's more suitable for dry skin than oily skin. For those with oily skin, I'd recommend using a cleanser with stronger AHA/BHA ingredients than this toner during the cleansing step, and then using this toner to refine skin texture.

I have extremely acne-prone skin and as an art student, I often spend all day in the studio, which makes my skin very sensitive. This routine has significantly improved my skin condition. Step 1: Use a cleansing oil to 'remove sebum' Step 2: Follow with a slightly alkaline cleansing foam containing AHA/BHA for the second cleanse Step 3: Gently exfoliate around the nose, chin, and T-zone with a mild peeling gel After thoroughly cleansing and exfoliating the skin, use this toner as the first step in your skincare routine! Since cleansing can leave the skin stripped, apply this toner gently as an exfoliating toner. You'll feel it absorbing deeply into your skin! Then apply a sheet mask, and finish with a retinol ampoule. Follow this routine, and you'll wake up to skin as smooth as a peeled egg!

  Used from April 11 to April 19, 2024 I have oily, sensitive skin prone to blemishes. - Packaging: Overall clean look with a transparent bottle and white cap. The text is engraved directly on the bottle instead of using a sticker, giving it a sleek appearance. - Texture: It has a water-like consistency with hardly any viscosity. - Scent: Fragrance-free, making it suitable for those with scent sensitivities. - Application: I primarily used it as an exfoliating toner by applying it with a cotton pad. It absorbs quickly and didn't cause any irritation. - Pros: The PHA and LHA ingredients help manage dead skin cells, so I didn't need extra exfoliation. My makeup applied smoothly without flaking. After using this toner, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin texture when applying makeup in the morning. I'm pleased that it didn't trigger any major breakouts during use.

  The texture is closer to a water toner rather than being sticky or viscous. I used it as an exfoliating toner by applying it with a cotton pad, and it absorbed exceptionally well. Recently, due to the changing seasons, I've had some dead skin cells and small blemishes. After using it consistently for a week, I felt my skin calming down without any irritation.   I was already using a toner with BHA, so I was excited to win this product! I have oily skin that's prone to dead skin cells, but using this BHA toner helps exfoliate without irritation and prevents blemishes, which is great. 1. Texture - It's a water-based toner, so it spreads easily and lightly 2. Scent - Fragrance-free, so it's not polarizing 3. Prevents blemishes - Rather than treating existing blemishes, it helps prevent them from forming 4. Hydrating 5. Some reviews mentioned it was sticky, but I find it non-sticky and it absorbs quickly, which I love It's a solid BHA toner that works well for most people I'm enjoying it so much that I'd like to purchase it again when I run out!!!

  For those who always struggle with makeup not sitting well, just buy this! It's the real deal... I used to have oily skin that turned dry, and even when it was oily, my makeup would often separate. I've consistently tried various methods of exfoliation too. Despite all that, my makeup would inevitably separate, causing so much stress! The skin around my nose and mouth would always emphasize dead skin cells. But when you use this toner, it's like it creates a film on your face. It feels plump, not sticky at all, just pleasantly firm. And the Inner Glow you get from just applying this toner... it's indescribable. It's definitely not oiliness, but a true radiance from within! I first discovered Hwahae through Mamonde's Rose Liquid Mask, which was great, but Biodance is free of 19 controversial ingredients, 20 harmful substances, and has passed skin irritation tests! Even those with super sensitive skin should be able to use it worry-free! I was using Mamonde's product without much thought, but then I realized how well Hwahae actually smooths out dead skin cells. I applied for this product and was selected to try it, and now... I'll definitely buy it again when I run out. I'm a beauty junkie, but specifically for skincare products. I don't wear much makeup because I believe skin is 80% of your look, so I'm quite picky. But this has become my holy grail product!

  I usually dislike thin products because they tend to drip when applying... This one is a bit runny and drips slightly when applying. Also, after application, it doesn't make your skin feel silky smooth, but rather gives a firm, plump feeling from within! This might be a matter of personal preference, but I absolutely love it!!!

  Tip

  Instead of applying a lot at once, try layering it two or three times for a truly plump, gap-free finish! Let it absorb completely before applying makeup, and your foundation will adhere to your skin like it's meant to be there.

After using this product a few times, I was thrilled to find that just one application smooths out my skin texture beautifully! ✓ Absorbs quickly The formula has a slightly viscous texture, but when applied to bare skin and patted in a few times, it absorbs rapidly. Best of all, it's an oil-free toner that's perfect for combination dehydrated and oily skin types! ✓ Great hydration I didn't expect much hydration from a toner, but after layering it a few times, the hydration is significantly improved. While one layer might not be enough to satisfy hydration needs, I personally find that two applications are sufficient, which I really appreciate.

  ✗ Expensive price point I have to admit, the price for this amount of product is a bit steep... ✗ Unsatisfactory lid Since it's a watery toner, a pump dispenser would be more hygienic. Unfortunately, the current lid design is not great - when you try to use it, toner tends to spill around the edges, which isn't very sanitary.

  ⭐️Bioderma Skin Refining Mild PHA Toner⭐️ Let me start by describing my skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone and the rest being dry. Scent: It's nearly fragrance-free, but those sensitive to scents might detect a slight apple-like aroma. Personally, I found it almost unscented! Irritation and Effectiveness: I experienced no irritation! At first, I wondered if it was even working because I didn't notice any changes. However, from day 3, I started seeing results. My excess oil began to disappear, and my deep dryness improved. By day 5, the redness on my face had subsided, my skin texture had smoothed out, and I felt like it was even managing my dead skin cells. Texture: It has a very watery consistency! Initially, I thought one toner wouldn't be enough to provide hydration, but after applying it twice and following up with a cream, you'll achieve that plump, winter-ready skin without question. Conclusion: I really appreciated the nearly fragrance-free formula. It seemed to address the lack of moisture in my combination dehydrated skin, which I'm truly satisfied with!
